A list of puns related to "Jeremy (song)"
As much love I have for this era, this song is just so awful and it was at the time and still is.
I was at The Shelter type shows, I get what is being laid down and I am not here for it. I wasn't then and am not now.
The wicked ruled is such a lazy weird thing.
I was reading earlier tonight about what the song was written about here (lyrics section): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_(song) - where he mentions:
"The second story the song is based on, involved a student that Vedder knew from hisΒ junior high schoolΒ inΒ San Diego,Β California, who committed a school shooting. He elaborated further in a 1991 interview:
I actually knew somebody in junior high school, in San Diego, California, that did the same thing, just about, didn't take his life but ended up shooting up an oceanography room. I remember being in the halls and hearing it and I had actually had altercations with this kid in the past. I was kind of a rebellious fifth-grader and I think we got in fights and stuff. So it's a bit about this kid named Jeremy and it's also a bit about a kid named Brian that I knew"
Who is he referring to? I couldn't seem to find any info that lined up with that claim, I was confused and thought maybe someone here would know.

Was listening to Jeremy the other day and noticed something funny in the first verse, which goes like this:
At home drawing pictures
Of mountain tops
With him on top
Lemon yellow sun
Arms raised in a V
And the dead lay in pools of maroon below
Lemon-yellow sun? Arms raised in a V? Who else could it be?
This is just further proof Eddie is in fact a time traveling fetus.
Hi all,
I was trying to remember this song, it had a melody (probably piano or smth to similar a keyboard), and in bridge people's start to talk too much between each other to get loud (they talk like street conversations or gossips) and Jeremy says 'STOP!' after a half of second music continues... What was the name of this song?
Hints: This song is from the 2008, 2009, or 2012 album.
It feeds into the theme that despite Jeremy always claiming to be a musician he actually makes very little music of his own.
"Oh, there once was a hero named Ragnar the Red
Who came riding to Whiterun from ole Rorikstead
And the braggart did swagger and brandish his blade
As he told of bold battles and gold he had made
But then he went quiet, did Ragnar the Red
When he met the shieldmaiden Matilda who said
Oh, you talk and you lie and you drink all our mead
Now I think it's high time that you lie down and bleed
And so then came clashing and slashing of steel
As the brave lass Matilda charged in full of zeal
And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no more
When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor"
