getting a jeep to run and drive out of an overgrown backyard!
Any info you can provide would be appreciated. I'm going to be working with a mechanic on changing out the transmission and TC, as its work I've never done before. I can probably get them to help with this change as well, assuming its even something that's possible.. [Jeep CJ-6, 1974, mostly original]
I'm in the process of completely restoring my fresh air intake and heater box. The blower motor resistor is the factory and it looks its age. I found a replacement online and in typical fashion lately of ordering parts, the company said it was in stock, charged my credit card and then emailed me 2 days later saying it's on back order and they don't know when it will be back in stock. These seem hard to come by. I've found similar looking resistors but the sites say it's not for my jeep. Has anyone had success with using a resistor maybe for a YJ or generic resistor?
