So has anyone heard of Fillmore because I've got a reboot idea for the show including putting several other Disney shows in it as a shared universe, inculding The Owl House and Amphibia as well as some other Disney shows which includes Star Vs The Forces of Evil.

On the off chance Disney does decide to do a bit more with this version of the series, there does lie an interesting question, which VAs would Disney pick to voice these characters either in video games or theme park attractions assuming they don't wanna pay too much money for celebrity voice actors?

I know Tony Anselmo would obviously return as Donald as always, and same goes with Bill Farmer as Goofy, Tress MacNeille as Daisy, and Corey Burton as Professor von Drake/Dale (in the series finale).

In terms of the VAs that began on this series, I certainly can see Keith Ferguson returning as Glomgold and Megavolt, Kimiko Glenn as Lena, Eric Bauza as the Beagle Boys, Kari Wahlgren as Roxanne Featherly, and David Kaye as Duckworth given they're all first and foremost voice actors. I can also see Kate Micucci returning as Webby (she has been in various cartoons in the last decade frequently in recurring roles (far more than she ever had as an on camera actor) including voicing Velma on a recurring basis on most Scooby projects since 2015 so I consider her a professional VA) too as the only main cast reprisal other than Anselmo.

If the only reprisals we get are the classic Disney characters VAs, Kate Micucci, Kimiko Glenn, Keith Ferguson, Eric Bauza, Kari Wahlgren, and David Kaye while everyone else gets replaced, which voice actors would you pick for them?

And keep in mind you'd be using this series' characterizations as a guide for the voices so for the likes of Huey, Dewey, and Louie, you'd be using their personalities in this series rather than the same personality ones.

Potential suggestions from me would be:

Either John Kassir (he does a decent job on those Rudish shorts) or Enn Reitel (sure he sounded pretty mediocre on KH3 but lots of voices were off there so maybe he'd do better with better voice direction given how he does give a mix of Young and Tennant) as Scrooge

Amir Talai (he has subbed for Ben Schwartz before) or James Arnold Taylor as Dewey

Grey Griffin (if she did something similar to her Queen Moon voice) as Mrs. Beakley

Kari Wahlgren (could be a decent Paget imitation) as Della

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

It really does, I swear!

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Excuse me but I've got an idea on how I'd reboot Fillmore

STORY STRUCTURE

The story structure for the Fillmore reboot would have parallels but cleverly smartly parody cop shows, most notably cop shows of today like CBS’s Blue Bloods, NBC’s Chicago PD, and ABC’s The Rookie (and not the baseball Disney movie of the same name); however, it would also take inspiration from action films like John Woo’s Hard Boiled, and because of magic being in Fillmore and his friend could also go on exciting adventures outside of school as a Story Arc. Some plots would be ripped from the headlines and it would also tackle as well more serious issues with policing (police brutality, justice reform, etc)

Also in the reboot there would be a massive shootout once or twice per episode inspired by John Woo’s Hard Boiled shootouts. (with both sides using laser blasters and Airsoft as opposed to real guns after all it is a Disney show.) There will also be chase scenes as well (and sometimes a combination of the two)

Also, some seasons would have a 9-13 episode story arc and a central Big Bad in each of those arcs and a TV movie saga based on Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga.

HOW LONG THE SERIES WOULD LAST

It would last around 3 seasons with more should the fans want more with each season being 26 episodes each

DISTRIBUTION

It would be a Disney+ exclusive and only shown in the US and US allied countries. China will have no export.

CROSSOVERS WITH OTHER DISNEY SHOWS

The shows that Fillmore would crossover with would be Wander Over Yonder, Milo Murphy’s Law, Phineas and Ferb, The 7D, Star Vs The Forces of Evil, Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series, The Owl House, Big City Greens Lilo & Stitch, Amphibia, Gravity Falls, Teamo Supremo, The Ghost and Molly McGee, Future-Worm and DuckTales (2017) as a shared universe (Think of the MCU). Elements from other Disney properties (Like K.C Undercover’s The Other Side) would be used as well.

THE RATING

The rating would be in the TV-Y7 FV range, with lots of Airsoft/blaster gunfights and instances of brutality of students inflicted by Safety Patrollers, especially by Sasha. Language would be limited to insults (like grop, florp, etc)

THE ART STYLE

I would go for a blend of Amphibia and Ducktales 2017 art and animation style for all characters.
