A list of puns related to "Ivermectin"

Trigger warning for everything you're about to read
Hi - I know a lot of you have suggested this and I wish I could, but I'm not going to bring this to local/national news because my son can't consent to that kind of exposure and attention. I don't want him to be reading these things about how his extended family was when he gets older, and I have a couple stalkers from my past that I would definitely prefer didn't read publicized drama from my life. If my son could talk and reason and tell me how he wants this handled, I would do whatever he wanted but that's not a thing yet. This is the most i feel Comfortable speaking about this and raising awareness.
EDIT #3: There's gonna be a lot of updates to this post haha. We have a court date set as of yesterday, it's a couple months in advance bc COVID. There was an arrest on paper but parents paid out the bail pretty much as soon as they were told there was a warrant. Both of them are lawyered up now, haven't heard anything more from either of them since it happened and I had to block both of their numbers so I didn't say anything stupid. The state board is gonna be called today regarding her license. Im gonna hold off on updating the legal situation until it's fully resolved because I don't want these posts used against me by defense. Thank you all for your support and great advice and I'll do my best to keep yall in the loop!
EDIT #2: Both nmom and ndad are being charged with reckless endangerment, child endangerment and abuse, poisoning, and inflicting grievous bodily harm. I know this is about Nmom but I have a good idea where she got this information from and who convinced her this was a good idea. My Nfather is 10x worse and I wouldn't say mom would want to intentionally harm my baby but I wouldn't put it past my dad for a second. Also, in the phone call she stated "we" not "i" in reference to her actions. A person who acted alone would only refer to themselves. My dad is a psychopath, but he prefers to have a puppet to do his work so he can get off free. He's very convincing and she's deeply mentally unstable. I think this is gonna be a long complicated thing and I'm not looking forward to seeing how dark those 2 really are, even though I know already.
EDIT: To answer a lot of people, yes the cops were called immediately after Nmoms phone call. A mandated report was sent in by docs as well. I wouldn't just take the fall for someone poisoning my child

Iβm not explaining to you why Iβm not paging the doctor about your request to use Ivermectin after you refused remdesivir. Iβm telling you we do not use it to treat COVID. Thatβs it. We can sit in silence all you want and you can try and educate me. The only response youβll hear from me is βWe do not use ivermectin in this facility to treat COVID 19β.

I'm a 22 year-old college student with my parents on winter break. My mother is a hardcore anti-vaxxer. She's concerned about the Omicron variant and wants my family to start taking some insane concoction twice per day: human-grade (thank God) ivermectin mixed with ginger and sugar in tea. I am vaccinated and boosted (without her knowledge), but I've got two weeks until I'm back. Is there anything I can do to prevent ivermectin poisoning in that time, assuming I have to drink this stuff? I've read that citrus juice inhibits absorption (see Canga & al, 2008), but fats increase it. Thank you so much for any help!

Reddit Submission: The mechanisms of action of Ivermectin against SARS-CoV-2: An evidence-based clinical review article
The article The mechanisms of action of Ivermectin against SARS-CoV-2: An evidence-based clinical review article has been retracted from The Journal of Antibiotics as of December 21, 2021. The research was widely shared on social media, with the paper being accessed over 620,000 times and garnering the sixteenth highest Altmetric score ever. Following publication, serious concerns about the underlying clinical data, methodology, and conclusions were raised. A post-publication review found that while the article does appropriately describe the mechanism of action of ivermectin, the cited clinical data does not demonstrate evidence of the effect of ivermectin for the treatment of SARS-CoV-2. The Editor-in-Chief issued the retraction citing the loss of confidence in the reliability of the review article. While none of the authors agreed to the retraction, they published a revision that excluded the clinical studies and focused solely upon on the mechanisms of action of ivermectin. This revision underwent peer review independent of the original article's review process.

I flew to my home state to spend time with friends for one week and followed by my family for another week. In coordinating when exactly I'd arrive at their house, my mom asked me if I'd gotten the booster, which I have, and she freaked out about it. In retrospect I should have fibbed. She's worried about the dreaded viral "shedding".
So now the only way she and my stepdad are comfortable letting me into the house is if I take a.specific dose of Ivermectin each day during the week I visit. The dose is 4 ml. I'm weighing whether I just want to cancel and fly back to my home 1500 miles away and probably spend Christmas alone, or if I want to put up with this craziness and take the Ivermectin. Maybe I could pretend to take it, but if they're in the same room as me then that could backfire. It's a liquid, not a capsule, apparently.
Anyway just needed to vent. Honestly sleeping in my own bed without any unnecessary parasite drugs in my body sounds pretty nice.
Update: thanks for the posters who sympathized with the tragedy of this sort of thing. It really sucks when your parents turn into children. I did contact my doctor who strongly advised against taking any amount of Ivermectin, which gives me the cover I felt I needed to stand my ground on the issue. I was hoping to call their bluff and have them concede or make an exception. Unfortunately that's not looking likely. Seems I'll be flying back across the country and having a much more low-key Christmas.

bit of backstory here - they are both absolutely evil and I'm ripping myself apart for not cutting off every single connection with them when my body, mind, and soul were screaming to. If it hurt, it probably happened to me under age 6. I was homeschooled as an only child in the middle of nowhere under what I can only call Guantanamo-esque, straight up brainwashing tactics. I'm at the point where I don't give a fck what happens to me anymore, but I am still reeling from the fact that not only have I failed to escape from their shit, I've allowed my child to be possibly severely harmed by them as well. I'm
