A list of puns related to "International students in Australia"
Iβm a Canadian university student currently in the process of applying to UQ and USYD Physiotherapy. My gpa is 3.5 which is not good enough for Canadian schools so I decided to go abroad (also always wanted to live in Australia!) does anyone else have experience applying to these schools? I know UQ is rolling admission but how long does it usually take or took you guys to get your offers? Anyone else out there currently in these programs or also planning on applying?
Iβm thinking of going in a few years time so hopefully there shouldnβt be anything covid can interfere with
Recently I'm thinking about masters in Australia and I found that Australia is very expensive. Also there is travel restrictions due to the pandemic. Please tell me how you managed the funds. Also share your experiences and insights on the Australian universities, courses, scope for jobs in the future, etc. Ps. I am a mechanical engineer
Planning to fund this out of my existing savings so I have to get this right lest I find myself out on the streets homeless in a foreign country.
The course fee itself is going to be 75k aud at max estimate and that's pretty much set.
Just wondering about the additional misc. cost such as rent, food, insurance etc.
Been finding quite a range online but are mostly dated (pre-covid). So thinking of seeking recent experiences.
Hey guys! I am coming to Australia in a couple of months to complete my masters. I am a light smoker ( 6-7 cigs a day) and have been wanting to shift to vaping. Sadly it is completely banned in my country. I saw the vape law changes and was wondering if someone could tell me how to go about it once I reach there. I know that the vape shops are still operating and I have kinda locked in on Geekvape Wenax K1 as my device of choice and from this subreddit I found most of the people order salts from vapoureyes NZ. What I am not so sure about is how do I get the prescription and will that be covered by the health cover or do I have to pay for it separately. And are there any chances that it gets rejected?
Iβm an international student and I want to know some of the good universities in the us, uk, Canada, and Australia that offer some genuine financial aid or scholarships. It would be nice to help
I am an international student doing the second year of my nursing degree in Sydney. I honestly didn't realise before starting my studies that it will be much harder/almost impossible for international students to get a new grad position and it's honestly very discouraging. I knew that it was very competitive because there are more students than positions available, but I didn't know that there was a priority list. I am currently in NSW and they do accept applicants that are visa holders, other states only accept Australians. I am working very hard in school and getting great grades but now I am being told that all of that means nothing because I am an international student and will be the last priority for new grad positions. I do understand why they prioritise citizens and residents and I guess it is partly my fault, I should have done more research before deciding to study here! I am currently working as an AIN for NSW health, which I hope will help me later on with potentially getting new grad or just a job as an RN. Does anyone have any experience with this or knows anyone who was an international student who got a new grad position? Any tips in general for getting a job after graduating would be much appreciated!
English is not my first language, currently 2 years in the country working in casual jobs . what's your advice or tips for an international student trying to get a decent job in business/ finance jobs? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I'm considering Australia (specifically Melbourne) as one of my choice for oversea studies. So international students, I want to know about your experience here. Pros and Cons would be nice thanks!
