A list of puns related to "Inductive charging"
Is it in practice anywhere ? Seems like it could have benefits related to avoiding catenary / Pantagraph, avoiding lengthy recharge times, and trains could carry smaller on board batteries. I know the technology is in its infancy for transportation but I've heard of inductive charging projects for automobile EVs , where the coils and inductive (or 'dynamic') charging infrastructure is buried below pavement surface. For trains , it would be beneath the tracks.
Any thoughts or resources on the topic?
So I just go my new Golf 8 and the car is absolutely brilliant. Everything works fine, other than spontaneous infotainment crashes. But my iPhone 12 Pro just wont charge wirelessly. It keeps connecting and then disconnecting after some moments telling me to remove everything from the phonebox. Carplay works fine though.
Has anyone else faced this issue and if so what did u do to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
IMO inductive charging is a wasted tech by primarily being used with phones. Console controllers would benefit greatly if you could just set them down and charge them when you aren't using them. It would be a great feature to set stadia controllers apart from other controllers.
ps: also fix the sticky/loud buttons and let us customize the sensitivity of the triggers.
Hey, on my Galaxy S20+, my Quick Inductive Charging doesn't work. I run the Qi-Charging device correctly with a QC 3.0 Adapter, but the Quick Inductive Charging only appears for a second before it changes into the normal charging mode. Quite infuriating. Anyone any ideas?
I am certain that I'm not the only person that can't stand having an enormous cargo connector on all of my small ships and rovers. I have long dreamed of having a better way to charge small ship batteries from a station, without the hassle of connectors and merge blocks.
My first idea was a "charging cable" that you would plug into the ship from a charging hub. I promptly decided that the physics engine would have none of it, unless it were static.
Better, I thought, and an actual reality today, there could be an inductive charging pad. It would be a block that transmits power through the ship's landing gear, or a nearby charging coil block placed on the small ship. It's the same concept as wireless charging in phones, and electric cars. I would love to see it in space engineers somehow.
Unfortunately, I'm no good at modding. If someone want's to tackle this, I'd be stoked.
