A list of puns related to "Qi (standard)"
Do you think this would be possible and if so when would apple implement this? People say that they will never leave lightning for iPhones but they already ditched proprietary MagSafe for USB-C on Macs so I think iPhones are not far behind.
Ideally, MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, AirPods Case, Apple Watches use USB-C (on both ends) like the Macs do as the world moves to this universal standard. In addition to this, phones, watches, airpods basically already support the open Qi standard so we are on the right track there.
Wait, USB-C on watches? Yep- I think that this would be a welcome addition until 3-4 years down the line when Qi is actually ubiquitous- Coffee shops, Cars, office buildings.
Anyone would need to carry their 12 Watt power adapter for the ipad, phone, headphones (not just Airpods or beats but hopefully all big names such as bose as well) and their 60-90 Watt power adapter for their Mac or Surface or Chromebook along with two USB-C to USB-C cables (differing in length).
*Edit*
I forgot to mention Qi charing for Macs but I can envision 'wireless mats' being sold that are maybe 24"x24" that laptops can sit on charging the laptop as well as allowing space for your watch, phone, etc.
I'm very confused. My understanding is the battery in the Watch 3 is the same or possibly a little smaller. When I put the W3 on the W1 stand, It looks like it happy at first, and reports that its charging and how long it will take, then after a few seconds it says "Use original charger" and the red light on the W1 charger starts flashing, I left it there for a few minutes to see if maybe it was still charging anyway, but no go - it was still showing the battery percentage on the screen but the number was going down. What gives here? I prefer the W1 charger because the watch stands up and I can see it when I'm laying down.
With the Apple Watch for the most part not working on Qi wireless chargers, apple did us a solid and made the iPhone chargers Qi compatible. Usually apple would force you to use their standard, but they didnβt this time.
And Iβm fine with the Apple Watch being proprietary as it works great out of the box.
(I could be wrong with all the information above about the Apple Watch wireless standard)

I have only tested this when the phone was at 90% but my charging rate according to Ampere was 660 mA peak. Does anyone have compareable numbers as to what to expect for fast charging via Qi?
Hi everybody. Just wondering if some of you red something about the upcoming AirPods case. Will they be MFI only like apple watches or open qi like iPhones? Thanks for any feedback!
As you know Qi standard can result in power loss because it's going through the glass/plastic. Why do we use this instead of copper pads like the ones found on earphones? They can easily be lined through a magsafe like solution and it's gonna be more efficient because the current is flowing directly.

I have 3 different chargers and the rate is never above 500mA. Was I supposed to know that this phone wasn't going to fast charge every other existing charger, and only with the google Qi charger, which isn't really Qi compliant if it charges faster than the standard presently allows?
I see nobody's made one of these in like, 7 years. I think it's time for a new one. PS: if you're making someone watch QI for the first time, I recommend Series 6 Episode 7 ("Fingers") to get them faded as fuck.

I just looked it up and I got a question here from 2015. Half a decade later maybe things changed?
For the life of me I canβt get past like level 50 before itβs 2am and I pass out. How the heck do you get to the hundredth floor??!?
Or it doesnβt have to be Apple. It could be any other big brands. Just thought itβd be a cool.
Would there be a limitation to stop this from being a thing?
I read from a TCM fellow that coffee seems to ultimately harm a person and should be consumed sparingly because, with regard to qi, it's almost akin to whipping a horse to get it to move, as opposed to feeding a horse high energy, nutritious food. Do you agree? Also do you feel that green tea has this same impact on qi?
