A list of puns related to "Helicon (instrument)"
Iβve found a lot of resources to help me understand midi and signal flow in the environment of Logic Pro 9. Iβm looking to create an instrument for my external TC Helicon Voice Works effect harmonized processor. Surely someone has done this already?
It would appear Melton made a soprano and a tenor helicon in 2006 and 2010. Does anyone know more about these instruments? This is the only info I've found on the web. I've also found a video of it in use. I'm not a brass player myself, just a clarinetist curious to learn about these intriguing instruments - in a band I play in two guys played them, unfortunately they left a while ago so I can't ask them (I don't even know their names, so no, I don't have their contacts) ... but I did find an old photo of our band and a guy is holding the instrument in question. I cut the instrument out (can't show their face), here's that photo:

I like the idea that I can buy it, rather than pay a subscription too
Hi. I just bought a Helicon in b and need a gigbag. I guess it needs to be custom made. Does anybody have a recommendation for a manufacturer in germany or EU that can make one for me? Unfortunately two of the manufacturers I could find do not reply to my mails. Thanks already
Hey everyoneβ
This is sort of synth-adjacent, but I have a somewhat urgent need to do a voice doubletracking effect for a show (no laptop, just me, piano and a mixer). I know that thereβs TC-Helicon stuff that can do this, but I hardly ever do vocals so that would be kind of a waste. I also know the Strymon Deco is a doubletracker but I donβt know how it works with vocals.
So Iβm looking for a hardware doubletracking effect that I could also use with other synth stuff in the future. I tried my MXR Stereo Chorus but didnβt quite get the effect Iβm looking for.
Any suggestions? Has anyone happened to use their Strymon Deco for vocals?
Got the GoXLR for anybody that wants to stream. Got it due to not much stuff weβre like it with software at the time. Now streaming came more mainstream so upgraded. Works fine, comes with USB cable. Only issues is it has a cosmetic issue in the bottom so itβs not seen. Other that it works. Sliders and RGB all work.

Hello!
My Voice Live 3 makes a hissing noise that overpowers the noise gate, unless I turn the gate threshold up quite high (too high for my guitar volume swells and sustain).
In fact the noise gate only works at -68 dB. Anything less let's all hissing noise through and doesn't mute the guitar at all. Gate gets rid of noise at -68dB but doesn't work at all at -69dB or lower.
I tried a separate noisegate pedal before the voicelive 3 but the noise is still there within the voicelive 3.
Hissy noise gets louder with more drive or compression.
What I found interesting is when I unplug the jack into the input of the voice live 3, the noise disappears. I've tried different jack cables and it still does it.
So I think either the jack input is faulty or the gate threshold is faulty. I'm wondering if the hissy noise is normal but the gate threshold isn't working properly?
Any ideas? Has anyone else had this problem?
Many Thanks
Hi there,
These are also guitar pedals, but I wonder if TCH are trying to confuse consumers here.
Does anyone have any experience with any/all of these? If so, which one is the most recommended? All three seem to do the same thing.
Thanks in advance!

Git-r-Done! DPSnacks the Cable Guy here with another week's offerings (photo). Prices are Reverb averages over the last 10 sales, includes shipping CONUS. I accept USD, BTC, and ETH.
KMA Wurm. Extremely versatile high gain distortion with 4-band EQ that also happens to do the HM-2 chainsaw thing. Excellent condition, no velcro, orig box included but the original owner shipped it to me in only this box so there's a big shipping label on it. $205
Fairfield hors d'oeuvre active feedback loop. New in box, I don't think I ever passed audio through it, definitely never stepped on or gigged. $175
Boredbrain Terminal. Pretty sure this is the V1? Excellent-new condition (can't find any scuffs) with box, also available as a package with four patch cables as pictured, made with Mogami 2319 cable and Squareplug SP5 adapters. $75 Terminal / $120 with patch cables
Boredbrain Patchulator 8000. Includes only seven, rather than eight, green 3.5mm patch cables. $97
I also have six 8-foot patch cables, angled on one end straight on the other. You can use these to connect three loops on the Patchulator to whatever pedals are running through the Terminal. Let me know if you're interested in the whole Boredbrain package.
EHX Memory Man Stereo delay w/ Hazarai. Pretty good-great shape, no box. $145
MXR M300 reverb. IMO the best multi-algo reverb until you start spending big on Strymon or similar. Excellent+, no box. $132
EHX Op Amp Big Muff. Looks clean, probably had velcro on the back at some point. $69.69
Parsons Street Golden Age P90 for the neck position, 12" lead left. $40
FEELER: Ibanez AR325QA doublecut. One of these! Gold hardware, gold straplocks included. Gold humbuckers have some fading/wear, bridge too. 8/10 condition. I think I want to keep it but I could be convinced. I like Fender and Ibanez guitars. I think I'm good on extended range/baritone/bass. Located US-NC.
My custom patch cables are made with Mogami 2319 cable and Squareplug SP500 (angled)/SP5 (straight) adapters. Squareplug makes the smallest/flattest soldered cable ends on the market and Mogami cable has been synonymous with quality for decades. Generally speaking they look like this (TS cable 6" or less with angled ends) More info (and secure payment)

Hey guys. i searched thru the internet for quite a while now but dont seem to find the right hardware.
i'm the lead singer of my band and we have a song about selling your soul for a can of beer.
then there is a part where the devil talks/sings and for the records i doubled my vocal track and tuned it down by 3 Semitones.
Now i'm looking to get this effect working live.
I found that TC Helicon makes nice vocal fx hardware that is even controllable with a foot switch.
but unfortunately they do everything but detuning your voice (at least the way i want it to)
TL;DR:
Looking for hardware with XLR-Port that can double my voice and detune it by 3 Semitones so it sounds devilish.
...and Some old reggae reverb would be also nice to have.
I've got a BUNCH of music/audio related things for sale. See below --
I can provide pictures or answer qu
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hey all,
I play the guitar in my prog band and also do the lead signing, yet sometimes it just gets complicated to sing in tune with all the weird time signatures while playing the guitar : )
I was wondering if any one has some experience with the TC Helicon Mic Mechanic pedal, especially the pitch correction function for live performances. Is it worth the money? Any other suggestions are welcome.
Cheers
