so just started playing GH world tour on Xbox again, I've realised most of the buttons on the guitar are unresponsive even though I'm perfectly hitting notes not sure if it's the colour buttons unresponsive or the strum button or something else? Any advice?

I've tested this guitar THOROUGHLY as I am an avid Guitar Hero player. I cannot find even the slightest defect with its performance, there is zero double strum and zero issues with the buttons. This is honestly the nicest Guitar Hero guitar I have ever ran across, it screams low hour count. The only reason I'm selling is I honestly just picked this up because I saw it at a thrift store with the dongle for cheap and I had never tried the PS3 version of the Guitar Hero games. Problem is I either use CloneHero or Xbox 360 versions of the games (as I own around 400 legit DLC songs on Xbox) and I would rather this very nice guitar move onto someone who can use it better. I've priced this inline with currently available guitars on eBay and recently sold listings and this one is NICER than most of those. Will be shipped with the neck detached with plunty of packaging material. My standard for packaging is literally "Would I be sure enough of this packaging to yeet it out the window of my car at 70MPH with zero fear?"

The ideal thing right now would be something that lets me Retro Game on my lunch break at work Acquiring Taco Bell from the north end of town takes approximately 10 minutes and consuming that meal takes around 5 which leaves me 45 minutes unoccupied sitting in my car each day. - The upstrum isn't registered
- There Is an overstrum

So in Guitar Hero World Tour Shirley and Marcus have little icons for their tutorials but do Riki and Matty (The singer and Drummer from the cutscenes) have some too? I was wondering if someone could provide me with footage of the singer and drummer tutorials so I can see their icons or just screenshots/pictures of them.
I find their character designs cool but I'm mostly asking on behalf of a friend who also likes to draw them and I know he would think it's awesome.

So recently I acquired some guitar hero world tour drums. I was interested in trying them out so I got a midi to usb cable for my pc. Booted it up and nothing. If doesn't work. Do I also need an Xbox 360 receiver for the drums, dispite them already being plugged into the PC?
Does anyone know how to install PAK and zones on guitar hero world tour. I use to be able to but anytime i try to now I get a row of all the notes and its all messed up. I wanted to play guitar hero Metallica and that’s the only guitar that I own for ps3. But when I go to do career or quick play it says “please connect microphone” so its reading the guitar as a regular controller? I turned it off and unplugged the controller and took the batteries out and tried again same issue. So I though maybe you can’t use that guitar for that game so I put ghwt in and I got the same message. Idk what to do
I am willing to buy an account/ share with someone who can get me access to all of the DLCs for these games, or at least the DLCs for Guitar Hero 5 if they don’t have the Warriors of Rock or World Tour ones! I grew up playing Guitar Hero, and the nostalgic feel of playing the actual games is much better than just downloading Clone Hero that doesn’t have the look and memories built into it like the original games do. Or if anyone can help me get the DLCs on the 360 somehow, then I will Venmo/PayPal you! I had some of the DLCs on one of my Xbox’s but when I try to play, it says “content is damaged or changed” and it freezes when I try to play. Accepting any information and detailed assistance. Hello! I recently bought a Guitar Hero World Tour pack for PC, and today, after a pair of weeks, the dongle stopped working, the red light doesnt light anymore. What could did happened and how can i solve it? Can i buy a new dongle and pair it to my actual guitar?
So I have just dug out my very old (still working) Guitar Hero World Tour guitar and I was hoping to revive it and it seems like Clone Hero is the best PC option to do so. This is an Xbox 360 guitar btw.
All I have is the functioning guitar and all I assume I need is either a wired connection to PC or a wireless adapter, correct? I assume wireless would be the way to go but I see a bunch of sketchy adapters on amazon.
Anyways, can you guys link me to some reliable adapters that you have working or would be willing to recommend? Many thanks.
I've searched high and low for these but can't find them anywhere that actually works. The ones I did find were all from the same source and too corrupted to properly work. I'm creating a working and playable archive for consoles of that generation, because a lot is already being lost. So in a broader sense I need to find a source for most dlc wads on the wii.

So I recently got guitar hero world tour (for the wii) and whenever I was in the game everything was fine. The game had been registering all of the fret keys and my strumming. The only issue was when I tried to play a song it would register me fretting as I could see by the highlighted colors at the bottom, but it wouldn’t register any of the notes and I would fail the song almost instantly. And I’m not simply missing notes as I’ve played guitar hero games before and did pretty well. If anyone has any ideas on a possible fix any help is appreciated.
