A list of puns related to "Great capes"
This was quite good but fitting the whole journey into 2 hours screen time (and that's including the "coming up" and the "next time on" pieces that plague all TV these days) this really does seem rushed. Each segment feels cut down and edited to the bare minimum.
Again, Wellington gets passed over quickly though I'm sure people who don't live here might think differently. The East Cape and New Plymouth get missed out altogether and that usually happens with NZ travelogues. I did like his route from Picton south west through the Kahurangi National Park through Reefton and Greymouth to Arthur's Pass.
I know the Eastern Cape is considered the most problematic province. The roads are in terrible condition. Loadshedding is the most common and goes on for an entire day. And it is considered a miracle if you get water out of the tap.
But the Eastern Cape seems to have its perks too. They have beautiful beaches. Two Port cities. Attractions like the wild coast and Addo Elephant park. Port Elizabeth and East London seem like nice cities to live in despite the province conditions. Also Afrikaans, English and Xhosa are the languages this province speaks and each South African can speak at least one of those languages. I know I stole the comment from somebody else but I think the Eastern Cape can do better.
Since i can't upload pictures i will describe it.
Edit: She served for the U.S.
It's full wool bluish grey cape with red lining on the inside, on the collar it says from left to right facing the garment, "C.H." "S.N"
In the cape it has a manufacturing tag sewn in, it reads, "Nurses' Apparel | Bruck's | Bruck's Nurses Outfitting Co. Inc | Chicago New York" (The | represents a line break.) Above this tag is a small metal chain.
My grandmas initials, H. P are on the left hand side wearing the garment.
It is 100% wool. I'm not interested in selling. I do want to know more about the type of cape, the type of nurse, and where/approximately when .
Anyone want to share any of their knowledge? Also do you have any tips on how i can keep it in good condition?
Edit: if you don't have any answers, do you know where i can look to identify and what type of person i can talk to?
