A list of puns related to "Gifted Education Centre"
Mostly curious about public schools, but feel free to chime in if you went to a private school and you saw something like this there.
For those of you who have watched Malcom in the Middle, if you can remember the earliest episodes (might be the first or second episode), he is identified as gifted and put in a class with other smart/intelligent students.
I mention the show as an example and also because I'm aware it's a very big thing in the US. It is my understanding that since grade school (age 6 or so) until graduation (age 18), there are usually 3 levels of education for children: advanced (gifted), at-grade (most everyone), and remedial/at-risk (students who struggle with school), and then there is special education for children with disabilities.
It seems like the biggest difference in the lower grade levels between gifted and regular education is that children spend more time on reading, writing and art activities vs. rote memorization work (time tables, spelling tests).
Hallo! I am a 20-year-old Polish student of Education and Teaching Foreign Languages. During my studies, I've noticed that compared to many other European countries, Germany actually provides very few educational solutions for gifted and talented children.
From what I have learned, for example, there are no special, more diverse classes at a more advanced level. There are also limited opportunities for individualised education or an individualised curriculum. There are few special schools designed for highly gifted children.
What might be the reason for this state of affairs? Is there something I do not see in the German education system? How do you feel schools had treated your own skills and abilities?
I will appreciate any response!

Could it be that one day the Laginas and their partners will feel compelled to transfer their lots on Oak Island to the Ulnooweg Education Centre due to the Mi'kmaq artifacts unearthed on Oak Island this year? And if so, will Dave Blankenship become the last man living on Oak Island?

Doing walk ins this week. Open until 5.30pm tomorrow (Friday) and 7.30 on sat-mon. Got a Pfizer booster dose.
They let walk ins into the queue whenever they had capacity, but prioritised those with appointments. I went towards the end of today and they seemed a bit constrained, and weren't giving booster to under 30s. But I think earlier in the day they did. Recommend going early!
