A list of puns related to "Fort McMurray International Airport"
TL;DR I am in a freezing bus shelter at YMM for the next 3hrs, please help.
My flight landed at 11pm originally from halifax but connecting in Calgary. Normally the company i work for books a rental vehicle for us to take to site and the cross shift returns it. However I was informed when I arrived I will getting a ride back with the guy dropping them off.. at 5:30am. So normally not a huge issue! I can find a little knook for a few hours and rest. However I wasn't aware that with covid rules they close the airport until 4am... So I am currently in a bus shelter with zero heat (heater shut off at ~12:30am) looking for any help please and thanks!
Hey everyone, I got a job offer at Fort McMurray that will pay me approx $42/hour at AHS. Right now in toronto I get paid around $30 (pretax). I was wondering if anyones made the move from Toronto to Fort McMurray? Is it worth the extra $$$? How is the weather there? Did you drive or fly there? I have a car & Iβll need it there as well, so I am thinking of driving there. Right now I dont pay rent or groceries, but if I were to move there I would have to. But in Toronto I go out every weekend whereas in Fort Mcmurray, I doubt Iβll be going out as often. Really looking for some advice!!! Appreciate it :)
EDIT: THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO MUCH EVERYONE !!! For taking the time out and replying to me, offering me (a complete stranger) advice, for being honest & motivating me!! Iβve really learned a lot from this post, especially since I wasnβt going to make it & did so on a whim. Hopefully this post can help out others that are in the same position as me! Im going to think about it, & update this post on what I decided on! Once again, thank u everyone for your input/advice π€π€π€
Coworker told me there is a pipeline right of way that runs jet fuel down straight from the oilsands to the airport. Says its very large and it is patrolled by aircraft, top security.
Can't find any information on it, is anyone familiar with this? Thanks!
