For a homework, I need to build a code lock using buttons and D flip-flop's. So far I manage to make a lock with a definitive code, but then the teacher asked us to make so that we can press the 4 buttons in any possible order, but without the possibility of pressing the same button more than once.
I've recheck the logic of the D-type flip-flop, but so far I haven't been able to come up with the asked result. I can't say for sure where I whent wrong though. I you have any idea on what logic it would work, please give me some tips.
I saw this a while ago and though it was the funniest thing I have every seen. I think it was a older looking video, trying to remember the image quality. Iβve searched for it on YouTube but it comes up with completely unrelated videos

The location of the electronic switch is the bundle of parts at the bottom with the large X pattern of traces and mirrored parts e.g. transistor, cap, res.
I take it the mechanical switch is basically a form of temporary switch unlike pole throwing? In typical DIY pedals its common to see pole throw switches which mechanically change the connections inside the switch housing from 1-3 series connected to 4-6, to 4-6 connected to 7-9 and 1-3 is disconnected (floating). Presuming you have a 9 grid or "three way" DPDT, I believe?
But in electro-switch this mechanical behavior is offloaded to a circuit instead, leaving the switch to be made solely of temporary-connecting every time its pressed, as far as I understand it.
So how does it work? Are the capacitors a critical part of it? Is there some theory website that details it? I could just copy-paste the circuit design, but its got me curious. Maybe copying it and testing it for myself is the best way to learn?
You can hide, but you canβt run!
Was thinking about it today and realized itβs probably the most ridiculously San Diegan thing about me
So, I loved the X-men growing up and the series X-men Evolution was great. One of my favorite episodes was "Power Surge" where Jean Grey's powers go out of control. So in the middle she is lying on a table and releases a telekinetic burst of energy throwing Professor X into the wall in his wheelchair.
Fastforward to 5+ years ago, I re-watched it again (seen it dozens of times) and this time he doesn't hit the wall, he gets knocked into the doors to the room and bursts them open flying across the hallway and hitting THAT wall outside the room where as before he hit the wall inside the room.
So, I posted about it in the main sub. I've watched that scene dozens of times during this last 5 years and it has always remained the same - with him bursting through the doors and I KNOW it wasn't that way before. So...tonight I decided to check to see if it had changed and to my utter surprise and amazement...it has changed BACK to the way I always knew it to be, with him hitting the wall in the room and not going through the doors. I figured my post changed as they always do but I found it!
Here is my post from 5 years ago:
X-men:Evolution Episode Power Surge.
Jean Grey's TK is out of control. During this episode, she releases a telekinetic burst and throws Prof. X against the wall in this laboratory room. He wheels out through doors and tells the X-men in the hallway what is going on.
Now, when she releases the burst, it throws him THROUGH the doors into the hallway and he hits that wall. The X-men in the hall come to his aid.
Seen it at least 50 times, my fav. episode. It is not a different cut/uncut version, it is on the same DVD I have.
And, now it is back to the way it was for me originally. The only reason I'm posting this is because this is the first case of some flip-flop that I still see a post/"proof" about. This is monumental to me personally because it validates me not being crazy lol.
A user just posted on the other ME sub that it's back to Victoria's Secret. Anyone else experience the flip flop?
Musty
