I used fish emulsions for the first time today and I think I’m traumatized.. what is your favorite fertilizer?
I have heard it smells bad but I did not expect that.. I only used it on my outside plants but good god I think my nasal passages are damaged and I keep having sensory flashbacks to the smell......
Needless to say, I won’t be using it again.. so what are some other great fertilizers??

I have heard a lot of hype about using fish emulsion (basically ground up and processed by-products from the fishing industry) as an organic and sustainable fertilizer that provides both macro and micro nutrients.
I am curious about the efficacy of these products. Does anyone have any experience with this and can tell me a bit more about it?
Also I have a bottle that wasn't being used but it smells really bad and I think it had been standing for I don't know how long. Does fish emulsion go off? I imagine it would being a biological product? Or is it preserved some how?
Any information would really be appreciated.
