My sister was going to throw out an ugly egg and chick covered Easter wreath. I repurposed it to be a Spring wreath with some fake flowers I had lying around and some super glue!

Is it tacky to use fake flowers?
Our wedding is four hours away from our hometown, and I'm afraid if we use real flowers for my bouquet, my maid of honor's corsage, or my fiance's boutionerre, they're going to wilt or die on the way there. The venue is a botancial garden, so thankfully that's covered.
So the question is, would is be tacky to use fake flowers? I figured this way, we would all have a keepsake from our wedding that we can display in our home.

Would you buy it? Seller asks 30β¬ for it, she's 140 cm high. There are fake flowers and seems to have brown tips. It's the only picture I have. I have to decide today and I hesitate a lot. It's far from home so I can't go and decide, I would waste too much time. Thank you!

I bought this cactus from walmart in May & i noticed today that the blossom was fake :( I decided to cut the fake flower & the hot glue keeping it on (with a sterilized tool) & immediately the cactus started turning brown. is this normal? is it dying? Before it turned brown it was a nice green color

Real or fake flowers?
Hi everyone. I feel like Iβve posted on here a lot lately.
So in the fall we hired (no deposit until 2 months before the wedding) a florist for the wedding.
I told her everything I wanted and that my budget was $1500. She came back and said what I wanted was going to be $3,000 and my jaw dropped. We managed to cut back on what I asked for and now the cost is $1,300. This includes my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces, flowers for my hair, 4 corsages and the sweetheart table. But now I worry that itβll be too little flowers. We are getting married in a pavilion and will have about 20 picnic tables underneath. Each picnic table will have 3 glass jars on them. 2 of them will have mostly greens with a few unbloomed flowers. The middle one will have 3-4 flowers with some greens.
Would I be better off getting the wood flowers? The problem is that my fiancΓ© really doesnβt want fake flowers but I think itβs look better since we would have more for significantly less. We would end up with 500 βflowersβ for $200. My concern is that originally my fiancΓ© and I were going to DIY real flowers from sams club but I tried my hand at matching flowers and got super overwhelmed.
I would love to hear from people who had real flowers and also from people who had fake. Do you have any regrets? Would you do anything different?
