Greetings!

I'm helping my friend deal with this civil case he won in other EU country. The judgment is in force, we already registered it in UK through Queen's Bench Foreign Process Section. I have the number they provided and we are about to enforce it.

The debt is not large enough to involve law firms, but not that small that he would be willing to just let it go.

My question is - how do we best go about this? We know the debtor is somewhere in the UK, we have his name and ID number. What would our best options be?

As a Texan, I've thought a lot about SB8 and it itches the wrong way for my state to be able to enforce a proscription of any kind in such a roundabout way. Maybe I'm missing something here, but if a judgment is entered against a defendant and the defendant doesn't pay, how is the judgment enforced if not by state-backed measures like contempt? If contempt is the answer, this back-end enforcement make all the state's hand-wringing about asserting no control untenable. If not, the law has no teeth and can be ignored.

Maybe there's a hole in this I'm not seeing, but I haven't seen it discussed anywhere and I really want to scratch this itch.

Hi,

I need some legal advice to enforce swedish court judgement in Germany.

Background: I gave a personal loan to someone. He hasn't paid me back after due date. I filled a case in his country of residence, Sweden. I got a judgement in the favor. But when Govt enforcement agency tried to find his assets in Sweden they were not able to find much on him. I know that this person runs a successful business in Germany, Wolfsburg area.

So now I am planning to go after him Germany In order to get money. Pending amount is less than 15000 euros.

Any advice on how to proceed ?

P.S: I don't have legal insurance.

I know that the defamation is not a criminal case in America. It undermines the freedom of speech. In South Korea, defamation is a criminal case, and this means that defamation is a crime. Also, defamation of true statement is a crime. If Korean living in US posts a defamatory post at Korean online community by using American internet provider and Korean law enforcement asks the US internet provider to provide the user's information, will the US internet provider provide the user's information to Korean law enforcement?

Since the msm won’t cover the blatant fraud and manipulation going on in the market, do you think any of our foreign friends might produce a hit piece on what’s going on? I think a broadcast who wouldn’t be affected by putting out such a report, should thoroughly investigate and tear them to shreds. Then we get it going viral and force them to talk about it.

Just a thought.
