A list of puns related to "Demagogue"
I've noticed that rarely does the Phillipine Arena hold any major events other than flea markets and Friday food fests. They built this state of the art behemoth for that? Factor in taxes and operating costs and this breaks the bank of INC. Why not sell it to a legit corporation and cut your losses? And to top the climax, Moon Unit Quiboloy is building THE largest indoor arena in the world, thereby stealing INC's place in the Guiness Book. Tell me these are not real estate rackets you guys. This coming year is going to be a sh*t show.
Hello! I recently received the Silverquill precon as a gift and was wanting to upgrade the deck but I cannot decide if I want to build around [[Breena, the Demagogue]] or [[Felisa, Fang of Silverquill]]. What have people out there been liking about the two? Is there one you think is stronger or more entertaining to play? Let me hear your thoughts!
I've had a regular gaming group for a few years now and we've had a lot of fun playing Pathfinder. In this story, our party had to infiltrate and take over a prison as part of our campaign to liberate a city from the local BBEG. While each of us in the adventuring party had our own ideas about how to do it, we were met with a team of guards the moment we actually got inside, and they aimed their crossbows at us.
The guards started barking orders to drop our gear and get on the ground, but our dwarven bard speaks up and asks, "Under whose orders?"
"Under orders of the prison warden and the righteous rule of our overlord!" was their reply.
"Yeah," the bard began, "About that..."
This began a long, winding speech to act as a Bardic Performance and fascinate the guards. They all tried their will saves and failed pretty hard, thus becoming fascinated by the dwarf's speech. Our GM asked, "Okay. You have their undivided attention, and they are still armed. What's next?"
"Excellent!" declared the dwarf's player, "I incite them to violence!"
Our table gave out a collective, "What?"
In the game, our dwarven demagogue's speech concludes with, "You guys are the ones doing all the work to keep this prison secure! I don't see the warden out here putting their neck on the line in front of a pack of infiltrators and surrounded by inmates who probably spend half the day planning out your deaths! As far as I'm concerned, this isn't the warden's prison, it's yours! Take it!"
In Pathfinder, the Demagogue archetype for the Bard class can't inspire courage, but instead has the ability to draw a crowd and incite them to violence. A number of targets fascinated by the demagogue (determined by the demagogue's level) must make a saving throw or they are affected as if by the Rage spell. The demagogue gets to pick the target of that rage. The target doesn't even have to be in the same area, the enraged crowd will seek them out just to distribute some mob justice.
...and this the part where all of the guards failed another will save.
The guards gave shouts of agreement, encouragement, and solidarity before storming off to the warden's office while our party went off to liberate a political prisoner and seize control of another floor of the prison. We heard the sounds of battle and saw the guards again a few minutes later, dragging the corpse of the end boss of this dungeon behind them. Our bard let us skip almost the entire dungeon without any party member ever rol

"Whenever a player attacks one of your opponents, if that opponent has more life than another of your opponents, that attacking player draws a card and you put two +1/+1 counters on a creature you control."

Situation (3 player pod):
- player A (me), B and C. Player C has the lowest life. If player C attack B, does C draw a card?

Situation (4 player pod):
- player A (me), B, C and D. Player D has the lowest life. If player D attack B and C, does D draw 2 cards?
Hello Commander Community!
I saw an episode of Commander VS and watched Justin Parnell play a Breena the Demagogue deck that was centered around +1/+1 counters and the modular ability. Needless to say, I love the deck. The only problem? My budget does not support the cost. I was hoping you all would look at my list and suggest changes I could make, that would allow savings for the list. I will preface this with saying I already have an esper sentinel, so don't worry about suggestions to take that out.
Thanks for your help!
Hello all,
Bought the pre-con and wasnt sure about this interaction.
Can I place the +1/+1 counters from Breena, the demagogues ability on Teysa, envoy of ghosts?
I assume the answer would also apply similar to if a creature has protection from black/white.
The title says it all. I noticed yesterday that it is the Demagogue who performs the Dark Ritual. What if he dies? The new leader receives the leader title, but is not a Demagogue? Can he perform the ritual or is the whole Ritual functionality of a cult lost at that point?
Am I correct that Helot Cults have only a single card available which is the one that allows immediate transformation of Demagogue (or Leader?) into Chaos Spawn?
Do I need to have that card available during the game to make it work? (Actually, I'm not sure I understand how cards work at all)
Also, do I actually have the God's Favour for the first match or only for the following games if I managed to perform the Ritual successfully?
Anyone know where I can buy an MP3 version of Demagogue by FF? Looked everywhere for it with no luck
