A list of puns related to "David Draiman"
Disturbed's lead singer just laughed like a monkey and said he was "down with the thiccness."
I believe this was back in 2010. My dad works in the military, and back in 2010, when he was at one of Disturbedβs live concerts, he got to go up on stage with the band, and even got to shake David Draimanβs hand. He was being honored by them, and everyone in the crowd was chanting βUSA, USA, USA.β
Thereβs a video on YouTube. I gotta look for it though. Iβll link it in the comments whenever I find it.
For some context, my dad works in the military, and has been for many years. He served in Iraq in 2003 when I was just a newborn. Anyway, onto the story.
This happened back in 2010, so if youβre reading the title thinking βwhat about social distancing,β this was a time before social distancing was even required. My Dad went to one of Disturbedβs concerts. Near the end of the concert, my dad was up on stage with the band, and David Draiman, the lead singer of Disturbed, was encouraging the audience to chant for my dad for working in the military. Everyone was chanting βUSA, USA!β while my dad was on stage encouraging everyone to stand up and cheer. Then after everyone was done cheering, my dad got to shake David Draimanβs hand.
Side note: My dad got to go backstage and meet another band called Stone Sour. I was only 7 years old when this happened. I only know this because my dad told me about it, and thereβs a video on YouTube showing my dad on stage with Disturbed.
I discovered disturbed when j was in highschool and have been loving ever since. The music, the messages they make, the people then inspire, everything. But when I found out how the band (especially David) is so dedicated to music and their fans. Like I mean has David or anyone in the band done a bad thing once?
I got to see Disturbed last night and David Draiman was discussing (sincerely) how many friends have been lost to depression, addiction, and in general. It was nice to hear him give βJimmy from Avenged Sevenfoldβ a mention.
At least to me, it's hard to do a powerful scream which changes vowel+pitch with 3 clean precise glottal stops thrown in just for good measure. Hard to keep the strength/intensity of the scream after each stop.
