Seems like there's a new offseason stash post every day. Thought I'd centralize it here.
Names listed in previous threads are below. I included % rostered in 1QB PPR leagues per Sleeper (as of 12/27/21) as well as any good comments that give more depth to a player. Finally, I am working through adding 1QB/.5PPR KTC values to each player (last updated 12/28/21). For reference, I have also included the values of draft picks/

Inspired by a post on the Titans sub, here's a list of all the missed games the Raven's have had this season (not counting Practice Squad injuries of players who never saw the field). Please help me out if I'm missing any or accidentally counted a non-injury missed game on one of the back-ups

Roughly the top dozen teams are loaded with talent and faith, with an equal amount of bottom feeders already hopeless. Do the Jags deserve to jump after they left the lowly Lions in the dust? Have the Bills fallen too far, or not enough after a loss to the toe tapping, Techmo Bowl Titans? Discuss! 31/32 reporting

1. | Cardinals | +1 | 6-0 | They say great teams overcome adversity. Hard to find a team that faced more adversity than the Cardinals this week, as they returned to scoring 30+ points while making sure the other team scored less than that. Using a fun football clichΓ©, the Cards dominated the Browns in all three phases of the game, and if there were such a thing as a fourth phase, they probably would have dominated that too. Then, add in Zachary Adam Ertz to this offense. Thrilling. Of course, us here in the Red Sea are hoping Mayfield and Hunt are ok, and wish the Browns good luck for the rest of the season! | |
2. | Buccaneers | +1 | 5-1 | Another victory for the Buccaneers, and of course, another injured defensive back after a hamstring injury to recent signee Richard Sherman. As the teamβs defensive corps gets decimated with the frequency of a Squid Game rendition of βRed Light, Green Light,β the offense is stepping up with increasing explosivity each week. Leonard Fournette is quietly averaging 91 yards per scrimmage this year and is embracing his pass protection responsibilities with gustoβ something Ronald Jones II has always failed to do. The Bucs face a tough Bears defense this week, but Todd Bowles is likely to return the favor with a young Justin Fields. | |
3. | Rams | +1 | 5-1 | Stop what you're doing right now and watch this filth. | |
4. | Ravens | +2 | 5-1 | This team squeaks past the Lions due to the GOAT putting all his loins into a kick, then puts together 4 quarters of splendid defensive / run based football and blows out a burgeoning high-powered offense by 28 points. Rookie Rashod Bateman had 4 catches, each for first do |
Pro Bowl rosters are always a popularity contest, but it has a big effect on players. Selections could mean more money in free agency, more pay based on incentives, etc. Below are both the AFC & NFC Pro Bowl rosters based on PFF grade.
Instead of using "defensive end", "outside linebacker", & "inside linebacker", I am using EDGE (lines up on D-Line) and Linebacker (off-ball). Otherwise, you have an entire team of pass rushers who get in. I'm glad that the All-Pro team has changed this, but the Pro Bowl seems to be a step behind.

I have literally watched every game, every minute, ever snap regardless of the score since I became a fan in 2008 minus a few games due to work. But yesterday was a whole different level of disappointment and I'm a Knicks fan so I'm very familiar with disappointment. Not that anyone cares but I wanted to share my end of the season take on how I personally view the team going into the offseason.
Draft Focus: I feel that even though we dont have a ton of Draft Capital the 2 crucial things we need are going to be Pass Rush and WR/TE. I admittedly dont watch much college so dont have a player radar or anything, just the two areas I think we need the most help in.
Coaching: This will be short, idk why everyone is so on fire about the coaching. For the exception of that last game I felt the coaches did a phenomenal job most of the season. Even when down 1-4 Our guys came out with intensity and always felt like we wanted the game more than the opposing team. That being said, as much as im a fan of Reich, due to him putting himself on the line for our QB he should be in the hotseat next season. DC should be on the hotseat if we draft pass rushers and he still cant improve that aspect of the game.
Defense: Honestly I feel like we are fine in skill, but we need to have better discipline. This responsibility lies with the DC, Darius Leonard and Deforest Buckner as leaders of the team. Too many times this season did we blow leads and have games that should have been blowouts come down to the last few possesions. Look at the Jets game for christs sake we should have had our backups in by the 4th quarter but our D allowed them to stay in the game.
Offense: O-line is fine, idc what anyone says, we can definitely get someone other than Fisher but you are always going to have a weakest link. RB, well he speaks for himself. WR/TE is where I think we need the most work (dont worry QB has his own section) TY hilton is a stud but hes old and we have him maybe 1 more year. Parris Campbell is unreliable to stay healthy so far, though if healthy can be a great #1. Pittmann while at times looks like he can be a number 1 just drops the ball too much in crucial moments... Remember last year against the Bills in the WCG? In the endzone, yeah he was diving, yeah it was a difficult catch, but a true number 1 makes that TD catch on 4th down which probably results in u

This is the time of year where I am constantly massaging my mock draft file attempting to balance team needs vs BPA. I will continue to make adjustments and release mocks monthly as we get more information on prospects and teams. I am also working on putting together a top 32 overall big board.
I think it's a little silly to be projecting trades considering we don't know where teams will be picking yet, so please note that there are no trades in this mock. Let me know what you guys think. I am looking for constructive criticism and feedback on how I did addressing your teams needs and the pick in general. Wouldn't mind hearing who you think I'm too high or too low on as well. Let's get started!

1.01 - Detroit Lions
Pick: Kayvon Thibodeaux
Position: EDGE
School: Oregon
Pick Notes: In what is widely considered to be a weak QB class, Thibodeaux is the best overall player in the draft in my opinion. He doesnβt have the raw strength you would like to see from a βcanβt missβ prospect but he is one of the most technically refined edge rushers I have seen coming out. The Lions are in desperate need for an influx of talent on their roster and Thibodeaux will be a significant boost for their defense.
1.02 - Houston Texans
Pick: Matt Corral
Position: QB
School: Ole Miss
Pick Notes: I expect the Texans to use the draft capital they get from trading Watson to fill out the rest of the holes on their roster. However, until those extra picks do come in, itβs hard for me to see them passing on a QB here when they get their first hand choice at βtheir guyβ vs having to settle with whatβs available to them. I donβt think any QB in this class is necessarily worth going this high based on talent but when a QB needy team gets presented with first dibs on the landscape of QBβs they usually donβt pass it up.
1.03 - New York Jets
Pick: Evan Neal
Position: OT
School: Alabama
Pick Notes: Having two bookend behemoth offensive tackles in Becton and Neal to protect your new franchise QB would be a very smart decision here. Neal is the blue chip tackle prospect from this class and wo
... keep reading on reddit β‘Let's celebrate Thanksgiving with the launch of Madden Harvest today! This promo runs for 14 days, which means that it will end at 10:30am ET on December 1.
With Harvest, we are getting the next level of rarity: iconic players. There will be (at least) 3 of them released during the promo (starting with CB Deion Sanders), and they are being handled a bit differently than the players we've had so far: instead of starting at a relatively low overall but upgradable by 300+ points through ranks and leveling, the base version of iconic players will start at a very high overall but will be upgradable by only a modest amount beyond that. For example, the rank-2 version of iconic Sanders has 420 overall, and getting him up to the maximum of rank-5 and level 10 (which is apparently the max level for an iconic player) will only boost his overall up to 505.
It seems like EA is trying to close the gap a bit between people who get just the base level of a player and those who are maxing out everyone on their roster. The trouble is going to be that because the iconic players have such a huge base overall, if you miss out on any of them, then you're going to be at an even bigger disadvantage than we've seen over the past few months. And with (at least) 3 of them coming out during Harvest, I think it is likely that FTP players will fall further behind (at least for now) since getting all of them isn't realistic.
Still, iconic players are clearly what we should focus on going forward. There's going to be some curveballs here because EA is likely to release some additional content on Thanksgiving itself, as well as Black Friday, but for now it appears that without spending any Madden Cash a FTP player can complete either:
Been saving some of your Madden Cash over the past few months? If you spend 12,250 Madden Cash (on the 10k bundle and additional promo stamina most days), you'll be able to get:
(I'm hoping that this cost drops down slightly as we figure out additional Food drop rates and extra events/rewards from Thanksgiving and Black Friday - but it likely will still take 10k at a minimum).

Players:
A few months ago, a dive into Grant Hill's Wikipedia page got me wondering. How many active teammates did he have? Curiosity piqued, I went from there and scanned over all NBA Hall of Famers and compiled their active teammates. And then did it with baseball. The NFL, with their much larger rosters, was a bit frightening, but here it is at last! First, a few ground rules.
A. Each player must have either played this year, or be on the injured reserve. No free agents, so players like Larry Fitzgerald were disqualified from this exercise.
B. Practice Squad DOES count. Tahir Whitehead played with Calvin and he's on a practice squad this year, I counted him. On the flip side, TO only played on the Seahawks practice squad in 2012, but I still counted the Hawks teammates.
C. Finally- I'm anything but perfect! I skimmed over all these rosters over a few hours, and I'm sure I missed a few here or there. Only caught Broncos Brett Kern, Steelers Brian Hoyer and Falcons Dustin Colquitt at the last moment. If you see where I erred, don't be afraid to correct me- I also used the rosters on Wikipedia, because Football Reference is murderously slow, so that might not capture the full season. Anyway, the players!

This is my first topic starter on any Reddit board. I compiled a list of teams I consider to be each side in the NRL's best 17 over that period of time. I'm asking if there should be any changes to any of the teams and who would win a fictional competition? Who would play in a Grand Final ? or even a top 8 if you wanted, I have gone on a merit-based system so Thurston doesn't make the dogs' team over Sherwin etc.

Philadelphia Eagles (2-5) at the Detroit Lions (0-7) |
---|
Another week and another poor performance by the Eagles who have a lackluster offense and a porous predictable defense. Derek Carr had his way with the Eagles defense completing over 90% of his passes against Jonathan Gannonβs defense. Gannon wants to prevent the big plays, but in the process is laying out the welcome mat for opposing offenses to march down the field. On offense it hasnβt been much better for the Eagles this season, Jalen Hurts continues to struggle going through his reads and is limiting the offense and what Nick Sirianni can run. This isnβt to shift blame from Sirianni who seems to abandon the run on a weekly basis, though on Sunday that was partially due to an early injury to lead back Miles Sanders. This week they will travel to Detroit to take on a struggling Lions team who has yet to notch a W this season. While this sounds like an easy win for the Eagles and allow them to get back on track, I wouldnβt be so sure. The Lions were competitive with a good Rams team in week 7, albeit they pulled out all the stops with two fake punts and a successful onside kick. However DeAndre Swift managed 144 AP yards vs the Rams and defending opposing running backs is an area the Eagles have struggled with mightily this season. Swift could be posed for a big day both in the passing game and on the ground against the weak LB and safety corps of the Eagles. Add in the Eagles bend and then bend further defense plays right into the strength of the Lions offense this season which has been using dink and dunk passes with Jared Goff. The Lions lack big play receivers, but Goff has been accurate this season completing 66% of his passes working underneath. If anything the Eagles offense and Jalen Hurts should be able to get something going against the Lions pass defense which has not been good this season, but neither has Hurts outside of garbage time, so we will see what happens, as always. Go Birds! |

Do your worst!
Justin Fields - Chicago Bears
Suggested FAAB: 20%
| Every Justin Fields Play Weeks 1+2 |
If you're in a sharp league, odds are that Fields has been owned since your fantasy draft. However, he's still only owned in about 50% of ESPN and Yahoo! leagues, so there's a chance that even in sharp leagues, shallow benches could have made it simply too hard to roster a bench QB. If that's the case in your league, it's time to pounce on Fields. Andy Dalton is likely to miss Week 3 with a bone bruise in his knee, and if he ends up missing the next 2 weeks, I think that the Fields era in Chicago will have officially begun. Sure, HC Matt Nagy released a statement through Bears PR that Dalton is the starter when healthy, but we've seen placeholder QBs remain "injured" for quite a bit longer than their initial recovery prognosis would have suggested. Assuming Fields plays the next two games, he theoretically has a tough matchup on the immediate horizon when the Bears travel to Cleveland, but he has a dream matchup at home against the Lions in Week 4. While he is definitely not coming off of a great Week 2 performance, his struggles are a bit overblown, and I think he could find enough success in one or both of his upcoming matchups to force the HC's hand. In terms of his performance against the Bengals, Fields looked good for a rookie coming in on short notice, although his one major mistake was admittedly horrendous. The interception he threw looked as though he forgot what colors his team was wearing, because there's just no way he didn't see the linebacker standing directly in the path of the throw. Aside from that one glaring blemish, Fields was accurate in his throwing and decisive in his running, and his statline betrays how well he played. I counted 3 drops on perfect passes into the endzone, as well as 2 other times where the receivers failed to hold up their end of the bargain on great deep passes (Mooney had a bad game). Also, his rushing statline is skewed by 3 kneel-downs to end the game, as well as being credited with a rush for negative yards when he recovered his own fumble. When he actually ran the ball, he looked great (6YPC), and he was one toe-skimming-the-sideline away from logging a rushing TD in back-to-back games. Which brings

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

The first of 18 NFL weeks is now in the rear-view mirror and while we donβt want to overreact to what we saw, there are some things that we were able to learn. Therefore β just like I did last year β I put together a list of three takeaways that I have coming out of all 16 games. Some of these may concern an individual player, a coach, a position group or a team as a whole. Obviously, there would more things to point out here, but for the purpose of this exercise, I chose the ones that were most apparent to me.
This is what I took away:
1. Dak Prescott is not 100%, but heβs still a baller
Itβs good see Dak back out there. While I expected Dallas to struggle trying to run the ball, I didnβt think the coaching staff would actually let him drop back 62 total times, coming off foot surgery and kind of a mysterious shoulder injury. However, thatβs what the game demanded and Prescott was awesome, with a questionable missed offensive pass interference call being what kept his team from probably beating the Super Bowl champs at their place. Now, there was clearly some limitations to his mobility, as I didnβt see some of that quick-twitch athleticism inside the pocket and then to actually take advantage of when there was space to run, and I thought he didnβt quite have the zip on the ball that weβre accustomed to seeing from him, but this guyβs already back to being a top ten quarterback, with room to move up.
2. The Bucs offense is loaded with pass-catchers
This isnβt news to anybody, but I believe Tampaβs receiving corp could actually be significantly better than last year. Godwin looks like a PPR-monster for fantasy purposes whose toughness and physicality make him their designated YAC threat, AB can still dust corners with impeccable footwork and was great at tracking the ball down the field and Gronk might barely crack the five-second mark in the 40-yard dash at this point of his career, but him knowing exactly how Brady wants him to adjust on the fly and the way he can still tank forward make him a valuable piece. Evans was actually kind of the odd man out and looked a little banged up, but heβll have better days ahead. And I havenβt even mentioned Scotty Miller as a guy to take deep shots towards, their TE1 until he got hurt last year
... keep reading on reddit β‘Every year The Athletic releases a consensus big board (https://theathletic.com/2530534/2021/04/29/2021-nfl-draft-consensus-big-board-70-lists-one-ranking-of-the-top-300-prospects/ - requires a subscription) which attempts to create a consensus draft ranking by aggregating other draft boards. I decided to take this a step further and write a quick script to simulate what each team's draft would have looked like had they drafted the consensus best player available.
There are two columns: "Consensus BPA" which represents the overall best player available that could have been drafted at the given pick, and the "Consensus BPA (By position)" column which is the best player available at the given position that the team actually drafted. One thing that stood out to me is how absurdly close the Lions actual draft is to the positional BPA shown here.
Some things to note are that the board may have some oddities due to either players being drafted that were not ranked on the board, or positions being slightly different between the consensus board and where I pulled my data from. The displayed positions are pulled from the consensus big board, to help explain the naming here is an excerpt I grabbed from the article:
>A quick note on position designations: βWRSβ refers to receivers that will primarily be tasked with slot play, βDL1Tβ refers to nose tackles, βDL3Tβ refers to defensive tackles with more pass-rush responsibility and βDL5Tβ refers to players that can either play 3-4 defensive end or could be either an edge rusher or interior pass rusher. This updated version of the list has also added βNCBβ to stand for nickel corners who will primarily be expected to play in the slot. It wasnβt originally noted but, βRBCβ stands for a change-of-pace running back β primarily pass catchers who arenβt expected to be lead backs.
This is by no means a perfect and I haven't gone through every team to confirm things so if you see any inconsistencies please let me know and I can try to fix it and rerun.

Prior to 2021, we would be reaching the halfway point of the NFL regular season right. With a 17th game, there is no clean midway point of the season, so this is still close enough. The league standings are starting to take shape and it is clear which teams should start thinking about which players they could draft come April.
I am so excited that mock draft season is heating up. With tons of college football action already in the books, we are starting to get a sense for who the top prospects in the upcoming 2022 NFL draft will be. We still have a long way to go though before final rankings are in or the draft order is even set, so this more about starting to familiarize ourselves with upcoming team needs on the NFL side and players to watch as the college season continues.
This is the most up-to-date draft order according to Tankathon through the conclusion of Sunday Night Football. The outcome of Chiefs-Giants on Monday night will likely see each team slide a couple spots in either direction.
With the trade deadline right around the corner, it will be interesting to see if any of these teams' needs change, but for right now, this is which players I could see teams targeting when the draft rolls around.
Edited to add in DeMarvin Leal, who I accidentally omitted.
It is hard to find much to be positive about following a 44-6 loss. However, it moves the Lions one step closer to landing an elite edge rusher in Kayvon Thibodeaux. The Oregon star has been incredibly disruptive this season, racking up sacks and tackles for loss while just generally wreaking havoc. He would immediately provide a boost to this overmatched Detroit defense. Dan Campbell will love his motor and his nose for the football.
Houston's secondary is a mess. The trio of Desmond King, Terrance Mitchell and Vernon Hargreaves do not inspire much confidence for the future, nor have they done much to deserve to stick on the roster past the 2021 season. Derek Stingley Jr. will have some questions to answer in the pre-draft process after missing much of this season due to injury. When healthy though, he is a sticky cover man with good physical traits and above average instincts. If he can return to the level he played at in 2019, when LSU won a national title, he will be a very good corner in the NFL.
My first mock of the year here. Obviously values, evaluations, and such are still very fluid. This is all based on my own opinions and values and WHAT I WOULD DO IF I WAS THE GM OF EACH TEAM
The Lions have a lot of work to do. Thibodeaux is the a top 2 player in this draft, plays a premier position, and can help the defense immediately. Now I would not hesitate to pick a QB here, however I think the Lions are more than a QB away from being a solid team, Goff can play in the mean time as a bridge, and let this team build itself up before starting the clock on a rookie QB contract.
The Eagles have alot of needs all around the team. Getting a playmaker at CB who is a consensus top 5-7 player in this draft is a decent consolation prize for missing out the EDGE that went 1.01. With two other first round picks, the Eagles can look to get EDGE help later.
Another team that is just way to far from being ready for a rookie QB. Maybe once Watson is dealt there will be more draft capital to build around one but for now, lets take a blue chip OL piece to continue to make a formidable unit up front, joining Tunsil. Heck, Howard, and Scharping have not played exceptional enough for me to skip over the chance to take Neal. The other option was Kyle Hamilton but with Reid being great and Lonnie Johnson learning, I'm going with a more premier position.
I wanted to take Hutchinson and would have preferred Evan Neal to fall here, but realizing Lawson will be back next year, perhaps the Jets decide to go with another elite S prospect, especially with what seems like a likely departure for Maye. Hamilton is my #1 player in this draft and I think he can offer a team Isaiah Simmons, Jamal Adams type positional diversity as an all around playmaker.
Chaisson has not worked out well to this point and Hutchinson looks like an absolute freak of a pass rusher. Pairing him with Josh Allen who seems to be the middle of a breakout season could help Jacksonville re-establish a great defense.
Derek Barnett is due for FA and is not having the best year. Replacing him with Karlaftis who has a high motor and can wreck some tackles with his power seems to be a good idea to me
