Hello all! This is my last night in town and I was wondering if there was anywhere on the strip to play Cornhole? Thanks!

I've been playing cornhole for quite awhile (44 years old, playing since about 20 years old) and have owned a company that sells cornhole products for about 20 years. When I was really ramping up the company in early-mid 2000's, ACA was pretty much a not-for-profit website that hadn't been updated in years. ACO was attempting to make a go of it as the official governing body of cornhole and, the president, even landed a front-page article in the Wall Street Journal. During this period, you really sold to the masses with an extremely small % of the people buying higher end bags.

So my company (part-time gig) was on cruise control for 7-8 years and all the sudden I realize that there is this entire new culture of cornhole players. I am not surprised that this exists, but it seems like it represents a much larger % of the market than I would've thought. It seems like there are tons of ACL approved bags out there and I'm SHOCKED that people spend so much money on them. Not only do they spend a lot of money on them, but they seem to buy a lot of different bags.

So a few questions for the experts here:

• Are people that are buying these playing in official tournaments and need them or just want nicer bags?
• The designs of these bags kind of remind me of those vape shop cartoony, kind of cheesy designs. Is that part of the appeal or does that not even factor in?
• If you're not playing in an official tournament, how do you justify the price of these bags?

Just genuinely curious about this because I find it interesting that people would be on waiting lists for cornhole bags for several months, or that they would be clamoring over a new cornhole bag design.

My grandma (70f) has recently picked up on common acronyms and slang and now uses it 24/7. She'll be talking about anything and randomly say "LOL" or "L-M-A-O" or "and THATS my 13th reason" or "It's because I'm an alpha" she probably picked it up from watching tiktoks with my sister and she thinks it's the coolest thing ever.

Everyone thinks she's amazing and hilarious for it but really she just looks dumb. One day she was talking to me and I ask her something and she says "M-Y-O-B" and I'm like what the hell does that mean, and she says "mind-your-own-business". I got such second hand embarrassment from that and told her to stop trying to be cool because it makes her look utterly stupid. She seemed kind of heartbroken after and stopped using it, I sort of feel bad but at the same time at least she doesn't look like an idiot anymore, idk?
