I think we all hit plateaus, lose motivation, and have times in our lives where we are in a lull when it comes to language learning.
I want to hear your best language learning experiences to help inspire the community and myself. Some ideas for what to share:
When you had an A-Ha moment and everything clicked.
A conversation you were able to have with a native speaker that was memorable and meaningful to you.
The first time you understood native content and how that made you feel.
How learning a language led you to a place and culture that you fell in love with(or maybe even a person)
A funny story about learning your language. Mistakes you made that you can laugh about(keep the ones you can’t laugh about out of the comments for now)
New friends you made and experiences you would have missed out on if you didn’t learn your target language
I really want to hear your positive uplifting stories. Your worthwhile moments. Things that made the hours you put in worth it. I think we can all benefit as a community by hearing each others experiences.

Hello everyone! Slime: ISEKAI Memories has simultaneously launched around the Globe as of today, so I wanted to make this post regarding game and community information for those gacha players who might be interested in giving it a try! I think the book may have been from the 60s or 70s, but my father read it to me when I was a child in the late 80s. The illustrations were pen and ink, and rather Maurice Sendak-esque.
So I just beat the story...was doing my very first match making game and got this. What the actual fuck is going on...the only things I've found are a year old so if they havnt fixed this issue it's getting a hard uninstall right now....
The title says it all.
This is one of the biggest short squeezes in history. Dogecoin is being shorted.
We can overcome this, but it requires all of us to do our part. Best things as always are:
- spread the word about Dogecoin and the shorts
- stay positive and full of memes
- follow the GameStop playbook: buy (if you can), hodl, and be loud about it.

I started playing Battlefield in 2005 with Battlefield 2. The community hated the net code, hated the lack of patches and more. This was the best game I have ever played. To this day.
Then came Battlefield 2142 and the hate became even bigger, and most of the players base kept playing (and complaining about) Battlefield 2.
Then Bad Company 2 - here the community went full apeshit about the lack of Jets and prone (funny to see everybody in this sub praising BC2). It was cartoonist and fun, and the Battlefield community hated that. Personally I had tons of fun playing that game for hundreds of hours.
BF3 & BF4 was not that long ago - you can browse reddit - the games were unplayable for months upon release.
No need to mention Hardline.
BF1 and BFV - again, shit tons of complains about everything.
This is what happens when a major company tries to reinvent, tries to bring the community something new every few years.
Take CoD for example - it is literally the exact same game, every single year for like 15 years now. Their only new thing since the original Modern Warfare is Warzone.
