I needed to replace collar stays for my dress shirts and had one left, so I simply used it as a template and cut a few new ones from a milk carton instead of throwing it the recycling bin. The scraps of course will still go in the bin.
This was something I did as an afterthought after creating a scoop out of the top portion of the jug.
As a raw material, milk cartons are great because you can get some pretty decent sized flat pieces from either half gallon or full gallon jugs. I'd love to hear how others have put them to use.
Stinky dogs are very cute too, but if your hand smells bad after petting them, you probably wont be hugging them more. Also, you are probably used to your dogs smell, but to others it can be quite funky! Its a win-win, dogs get more love, and guests will want to come back
I know this sub isn’t explicitly focused on conversions, but I figured there’s enough people who both paint and convert models that someone on here might know.
Are plastic dress shirt collar tabs typically made of polystyrene? I’ve been having no luck googling the answer. There are packs of up to 350 on amazon for like 5 bucks and I’m trying to figure out if I’ve stumbled upon a way to make my conversions slightly less godawful expensive. Thanks in advance!
Every time we try to put it back on she growls nonstop, which she’s never done, and escapes it every time. She keeps trying to lick her new wound and we can’t seem to stop her. All of the pet stores and the vet are closed until tomorrow to get a cone. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? I’m worried she’ll get an infection if she keeps licking.
How does the fancy detachable collar stay in place? On the pic attached you can see that it did not stay in place.

For those of us that wear a collared shirt to work and suffer from floppy collar syndrome. Instead of buying metal ones or using the cheap plastic ones that come with the shirts and most bent from being thrown through the washer. A paper clip can be used in its place, just make sure it's stainless steel.
