A list of puns related to "Cascade Locks, Oregon"
You've probably seen pics of the Multnomah Falls waterfall on Instagram or elsewhere. They're actually right next to Cascade Locks, OR, a great trail town and the location for PCT Days.
Cascade Locks is a popular place for a zero day, with good reason, and the Falls are a quick (30 mins?) and cheap ($5 or $10?) bus ride away.
Here's an article describing the recent repair / reopening of the trails.
A sheriff's account was turned into an episode of Paranormal Witness, Season 1, Episode 3, "Watch in the Wilderness," which was aired in September 2011. To quote,
>[.......] a former deputy sheriff tells the tale of sighting a creature he could not identify while alone in the Cascade Mountains of the Oregon wilderness in 1997. When he attempts to file a report, he is harassed by his colleagues, who eventually end up revealing to him that there have been multiple reports of similar creatures in that area in recent years.
What is interesting is that local authorities were ordered (by whom?) not to file a report of any such sightings or incidents. But it seems some reports were indeed filed. At the end of the episode, we have this text on the screen:
>There have been 224 reports of unidentified creatures in Oregon in the past decade.
