A list of puns related to "Carpenter jeans"
Sorry if not the right place to post but I work in the trades and can't find ideal clothing for it.
I'm having a problem finding good-fitting work clothes. I'm lean, 5'11" and 145 lbs. I like my clothes to fit my frame but finding work clothes catered to my size is hard. Home Depot doesn't even sell a size smaller than L in their stores. I don't want to look like a fashion model (cuz I'm not) but I can't stand swimming in my clothes.
I bought the Dickies 30x30 slim fit chinos and they were too tight in the crotch, like I couldn't breathe and after a few days I worried if I'd be able to have kids again. The other options I find I can't fit over my boots. I'd like to find a good pant/denim that's thick enough for work but it seems impossible. Even buying Dickies or Carhart pocket T's or mechanics' style shirts in size S or M find me drowning, they're either way too long or far too baggy. Anyone else have this problem? The only thing close I can find are from stupid off-shoot brands that are fashion over function based and wear out after a few weeks of labor.
Would love to find a set of jeans that fit my frame with carpenter loops for a hammer and something thick enough to withstand the elements or even a couple hours of kneeling while doing floors or working on rooftop units.

I'm searching for a pair for work. Every pair of carpenters I've ever owned or tried on makes my lower half look like a trash bag (I'm a shorter guy, 5'5).
Any recommendations for a pair of carpenter jeans that are slim fitting and built to last? The best option I could find has been from Carhartt WIP Ruck Single Knees'. I've read mixed reviews on the quality of the WIP line and if anyone has any insight before spending a buck on them that would be great!
TIA!
I bought a pair of carpenter jeans on Poshmark in the size I usually order. I was surprised to find that it was a lot tighter around my waist and I'm thinking of reselling them. Did anyone else have a size problem with the carpenter fit?

... keep reading on reddit β‘So I was thinking about getting the talia dark wash jeans, but Iβm not sure if I should get the regular ones or the carpenter jeans. Is there a difference in fit between them? On the website, it says the measurements are the same but the carpenter jeans look a little bigger (and Iβd prefer if the jeans were bigger lol Iβm not exactly in brandyβs size demographic).

Bought these on a whim the other day, they just arrived and I havenβt seen any posts about them on here so I figured Iβd upload some photos.
Tried them on earlier and put them in the bath to soak.
They fit well in the top block, knee, leg, etc. the hem is a bit tight at just over 6β.
That said, theyβre vanity sized, I ordered a 30x30 and the waist measures close to 32β. But that was to be expected despite AE having an awful size guide on their site. Hoping they will shrink a bit in the waist.
Not sure if anyone cares since these are βcheapβ but the construction is actually quite impressive in my opinion. Has anyone else tried these?
Does anyone what company might sell these? Preferably a brand other than Rasco, not a huge fan of their stuff. I have womenβs FR carhartt jeans I wear, I love them and they have deep pockets, but no carpenters pockets for my tools. I have bibs for the winter, but once it warms up again Iβll be shit out of luck. Menβs pants donβt fit quite right and tend to be rather uncomfortable as I have large hips and a very small waist. Any of you ladies have any tips for me? The womenβs workwear industry really needs to step up and give us pocket equality.
