A list of puns related to "Bone tool"
Iβm away from my toolbox today and thought this would be a fun (and likely useful for my current situation) discussion. :)
hello there, i am new to rlcraft and i just got to enchanting my gear. For some reason i keep getting trash enchants or single enchants only on dragon tools and good enchants on diamond. is this normal or am i just plain unlucky? thanks.
If I wanted to make a bare bones tool kit/survival kit. What is the most common sock/wrench needed. I know 10mm is on the list but what about standard/imperial sizes? Any other tools maybe needed?
I've seen this mentioned a couple times here and there; though not very recently either. It's something that, with enough tweaking of existing items, I believe could fit quite snugly into the realism of the game.
Bone tools.
The game seems to have wanted to go with a relatively realistic angle with hunting, using animal parts, etc. And yet there's always been something that kind of bugged me about hunting and harvesting animals.
When you kill an animal and take everything from it, there's nothing left except maybe the legs left on the floor. Which, I suppose is meant to insinuate that the player has used everything from that animal. But the game seems to also not address the overwhelming amount of use one can get from the bones you would get from the animals you bring down.
So effectively, I'd enjoy seeing a reduction in the amount of man-made available tools, whilst adding in a new mechanic and new items that make use of the bones of animals.
I saw in a previous mention regarding this idea, where a user had the idea of adding "Large Bones" and "Small Bones" to the game, and depending on the animal you harvested, you'd get varying amounts of either; which seems sensible and simple to me.
Rabbits would give only Small Bones, Wolves might give you 1-2 Large Bones, Deer give you 3-6 Large, Bears 7-8 Large and Moose 10 or so Large. All would give you some Small Bones of increasing amount relevant to their size.
Large Bones could be used to make axes and knives, Small Bones could be used to make fish-hooks, sewing needles and arrow heads. And there'd probably be a dozen other man-made tools that you could make a bone-equivalent for. I'd assume for balancing reasons the bone tools would wear out faster, meaning you'd need to hunt animals in order to keep those tools available - which in turn creates a more formidable, regular obstacle to obtaining those tools.
Bone-sourced Recipes
Additionally, I've also seen mention that adding Bones to the game could add in more recipes, like Bone Marrow and Bone Broth soup. So it'd add to the cooking side of things too. I have seen a few mentions that a number of users would thoroughly enjoy adding this as a food option in the game. And as a modifier, I did see the idea that bones would be Uncooked to be used for tools, or Cooked to be used for Food; so not both.
Balancing
As another balancing measure, in addition to reducing the number of man-made tools in the game' I've seen one user s
... keep reading on reddit β‘Been pretty happy with my PDW 300, but I haven't been having the best of luck with supplementary tools/bits.
Can someone confirm the proper OTIS Bone tool for this rifle bolt? I've read it uses the 5.56 size as standard.. I bought one in this size, but it doesn't feel "right"...
Can someone help me find a proper Armorer's wrench to remove the front compensator? hider? I bought the Aim sports one from this post (and apparently recommended from DD), but it does not fit over compensator.
Having terrible luck at this (first time AR owner) be gentle.
