A list of puns related to "Arab League"
Like EU + U.S.
Arab leaders want to pretend like the last decade didnt happen, that half a million Syrians arent dead, millions displaced etc.
They want to strike deals with him now, enable and fund him so he can once again return to oppressing the people of Syria without him paying for a single drop of the blood he spilled...

Earlier this week a conference was held in Aden among both public and private interests in the DESERTEC program that is a one of, if not the largest, producer of solar power on the planet, supplying not just the middle east but large swaths of Europe. The conference ran for roughly four days, however this story comes from the fifth day in which at the closing ceremony a group of Gulf Coast politicians were in a heated debate on the expanded space race.
After much alcohol was had, fiery debate began about the lack of Arab League investment in space exploration, with an ubsubstainated rumor that one of said politicians stated "How are the darkies (a pejorative term used for Swahili) so far ahead of us, don't they still use tin cans and strings to communicate?". Things began to escalate with shouting being reported, however one minor unnamed Bharani politician stood on his chair and loudly yelled "The Arab League claims the Sun", to which security escorted all belligerents out of the venue.
This is no doubt an instance that said individuals involved should be ashamed, however, it does bring light to the fact that many citizens in the Arab League would like to see further investment in the space race, as they believe that their national prestige is at stake.

#"Failed coup in Turkey has Arab League intelligence pointing to Russia, while 3AR Private Military Companies flee America"
CNN (International) | Issued January 1st, 2049 - 12:00 | Istanbul, Turkey
ISTANBUL - A failed coup has been quashed by military loyalists within the Turkish Government after an attempted "Uprising of the East". The coup which was led by various Eastern Generals has largely fallen flat, with most being arrested at the behest of public sentiment which has turned strongly against the coup-leaders after it was revealed that the coup may have been sponsored by Russian operatives. In a revelation very much akin to what the Arab League had originally warned the Turkish government about, it would appear that the Arab League Foreign Minister has been vindicated following the attack, given his prior warnings over foreign vultures. Matters where however complicated when it was revealed that IP tracing seemed to have allegedly pointed to both Russian and Iranian interference in aiding and abetting the coup attempt.
Even more, it is reportedly rumored that Bandung Pact operatives have also been deeply involved in the failed coup attempt, with questions being raised as to whether or not this has been a joint Russian-Bandung Pact effort given the IP tracing leading to Russia, Iran, and possibly the Bandung Pact operatives themselves. The Turkish Foreign Minister has stated that "attacks on the Turkish people are outrageous, and attempting to collapse the country is something nobody supports", the statement much to the adoration of the Turkish population was repeated across most major media in the country. The attack has further brought increased closeness between the broader Arab League and Turkey, given it has practically proven the Arab League's prior warnings which had been originally doubted by both the Turkish government and population at large.
Accusations against Russia beyond IP tracing has largely been minimal, although it has been complicated by rumors that former Third Republic Private Military Contractors known as "Cipher" have reportedly taken up headquarters in Russia's Digital World. While the physical headquarters of Cipher is unknown, it is believed that agents have set up something of a "contractor's office" in a Russian Augmented Reality game. This is also the most recent in a string of movements by former Third Republic PMCs who have lar

#"Japanese assets prepared to withdraw, Arab League Ambassador summoned" ~ Says Minister of Foreign Affairs
The Asahi Shimbun | Issued January 1st, 2049 - 12:00 | Tokyo, Japan
TOKYO - After a surprise issuing of new border-control policies without any warning to the Empire of Japan, the Imperial Ministry for Foreign Affairs alongside the Imperial General Headquarters has confirmed that "The Imperial Japanese Military would not be allowing any existing personnel or nationals in Arab League territories to be subject to ongoing border policy." The policy in question is of course the unannounced requirement for biometric ID among other restrictions placed upon many nations around the globe, including the Empire of Japan. This was something which came as a serious surprise to the Japanese public, not only for the fact the policy was put in place unannounced but also that the Arab League would even consider it necessary to collect biometric data on Japanese soldiers. The full policy can be seen below,
>Citizens of orange-listed nations are requested to provide biometric data upon arrival, and are not subjected to any curfew. Depending on their visa status, they may need to check in at a visitor centre every week and their are not subjected to movement restrictions. Orange listed countries may have visa-free status, which would preclude the need to extend a visa, or may need one in which case they would need to extend it every 2 weeks. Orange-listed nations do not have the cash restriction or additional in depth verification.
>Individuals directly invited by the government from orange listed countries will naturally present passports with biometric ID, but would not be subject to the same weekly check in and visa extension requirements. This would also translate to embassies of those nations as well as those forming part of military alliances.
The policy which was only discovered when soldiers living on-base at various locations across the Arab League (in bases built and paid for by the Empire) where asked for biometric data ID from border officials, has come as a shock. The Imperial General Headquarters and more specifically the Second Imperial Army likewise confirmed that save for a handful of soldiers who where initially confronted, no other Japanese personnel have han

#Chaos in Kaabu as Arab League backed secessionist movement leads to retaliatory nationalizations
CNN (International) | Issued January 1st, 2049 - 12:00 | Islamabad, Mughalistan
ISLAMABAD - Chaos has erupted across Kaabu as protests against the Arab League in Abuja, Lagos, and other major southern cities have been coupled with an ongoing nationalization scheme where Kaabu-loyalists on orders of the government have seized large amounts of ADIR operated or owned infrastructure and companies within the country. This has come as a result of Arab League efforts to utilize "ADIR owned railway and other logistical infrastructure" within the country to move what has been declared an "illegal paramilitary organization" by the Kaabuan government. As a result, the Kaabuan government declaring the actions by the Arab League to be just as abusive as any other European Imperialist of old, has moved to replicate the nationalization scheme but this time placing all resources directly in the hands of the Kaabuan government.
This has brought a halt to Askia Legion movements within the country (with most of the Legion now in Northern Nigeria), who now have to rely solely on privately owned vehicles for transport. At the same time, the Sultan of Sokoto has declared the independence of the Sokoto Caliphate consisting directly of the Nigerian state of Sokoto. While the populations of Niger had remained supportive of a more autonomous Islamic North, they had not expected things to escalate to a declaration of Independence, resulting at this time in only Northern Nigeria at large following the Sultan of Sokoto. This was exasperated after a total failure of secrecy, pointing to direct Arab League efforts to fracture and destroy the Kaabuan nation. These revelations where discovered by an ongoing Bandung Pact intelligence operation within Kaabu to uproot the clearly Arab League aligned KSI within the country.

Reportedly the Bandung Pact had managed to gain temporary access to Askia Legion communications, revealing the Arab League's sweeping operation to force a split in Kaabu, with KSI and Askia Legion officers working in tandem to create an Arab League Northern puppet state. However, the revelation of the collusion has fo

I hope the Sudani people learn the lessons from other Arab countries. Do not let politics get in the way of national cohesion. Whether you are liberal or conservative, Arab or otherwise, you are all Sudani. A free and open Sudan is better than all the riches of Gulf where people arenβt allowed to think. The Arab League has not served and will never serve you so long as it is filled with dictators who back stab each other when it is expedient. And who have especially back stabbed your country. The foreign autocrats are scared of your freedom because of your potential. Donβt forget that. I pray for you and good luck.
The Arab League, united as one, stands as one of the larger economies in the world. North Africa has since 2027 developed significantly despite the three wars that the nation has engaged in. In all three wars, the conflicts largely occurred beyond the borders of the homeland, which was thus spared from the destruction of significant infrastructure.
The Arab League has secured significant investment in the early 20s, which jump started its economy and led to a dramatic shift away from hydrocarbons. Starting with DESERTEC, the project resulted in much of Europe's energy needs being met by the ADIR and its large network of electricity generation. The new infrastructure allowed the government to invest greater funds in projects requiring a large amount of cheap electricity. The great water projects which saw hundreds of desalination plants be created helped alleviate drought and maintain agriculture, while other innovation thanks to an improved business climate resulted in the creation of several autonomous and electric vehicle production facilities producing millions of vehicles per year. The Arab League is the largest producer of EVs in the world. The availability of cheap electricity was not the only significant change that came to the Arab League in North Africa. Investing greatly in rural territories, the ADIR ensured that no man was left behind and that illiteracy and poverty in these regions are all but eradicated. From road infrastructure to railways, the territory was integrated in a way that was never done before.
Further diversifying from oil and building off of the Egyptian and Tunisian programs, the now less bureaucratic government could afford to invest greater sums into developing a national Pharmaceutical program and industry, achieving self sufficiency in healthcare products by 2040. Further developments in genetics, and the influx of new experts in genetics and biotech has further propelled the Arab League's biotech program to modernity.
The Fall of France has also brought a significant amount of capital flight to the ADIR, attracting world renowned experts in many fields ranging from robotics to genetics, as well as several lucrative trade agreements stemming from the acquisition of Naval Group, Thales, and Dassault. The Arab League was less affected by the fall of France due to its rapid surrender and its positive relations with Germany. The spice continued to flow, and the Arab League profited immensely from further regional integratio
