All of the Lights Puns

There's been a lot of debate this week about which company is putting on a better product, which shows are doing the best ratings, etc, etc, and that debate will continue for a long time. Putting all that aside and just looking at it from the perspective of which company showed more respect and appreciation for their fans, there were some really glaring differences.

AEW gave people three dark matches after the show ended and Tony Khan immediately announced in the post-show scrum that they were working on a second franchise that would use those matches and would be completely free to watch. They then flew out some of their biggest names (Cody, Moxley, MJF, Brandi, Jericho, Jungle Boy, Nyla and Kong) to NYCC for an impromptu AEW panel, where they gave out 20 free tickets to fans in attendance.

The WWE gave fans in attendance 0 dark matches after SmackDown and abruptly turned on the lights to indicate the show was over, making people realize that Taker, Austin and Sting had been falsely advertised and weren't coming out. People were immediately angry and reports and videos from fans in the arena show that people started loudly chanting "AEW" and "We want refunds!"

Wrestling isn't just about the product. A large part of it is how you engage with the fans.

I was talking to a TBM family member today, and even she was stunned by the turnout at the airport. She mentioned she has a friend in one of the suburbs who reported that all of the neighbors in her cul-de-sac had an impromptu welcome home party for one of the missionaries.

I hope that more people actually followed the instructions to pick up their missionary than those who just didn't give a fuck about anyone but themselves.

I'm in high school. I go by EST, so reset generally happens at around like noon here. Since I don't normally get home till 2:30 (and I have Driver's Ed, so I don't get home till y for another week). Every time a new dlc or season drops I look at light.gg and look at the new weapons and armor.

With that in mind, if we get another kinetic 150 scout, or another kinetic 110 HC, I'm gonna lose my mind. And if we don't get another 540 pulse, I'm gonna go beyond mind and lose my shit.

Edit: Site just updated, I saw the guns. Not entirely happy, but not bad.

Life support systems scrub the air inside of the ship and also heat and cool it. This should not take any meaningful amount of power at all. Like none. Relative to some of the other things the ship is doing anyway. Less than one millionth of a percent of their power demands. Now you might speculate that life support also controls temperature to protect from some of the industrial processes going on on the ship, but we know this is not the case. We have seen numerous occasions when life support failed and quite a while later the problem was not people freezing or overheating but running out of air. So life support is not actually cooling things like the warp core.

Cutting the lights for red alert seems especially stupid, lights and being able to see things are useful. A million times the power demand of all the lights on the Enterprise should barely register on their total power demands. We are dealing with enough power to fold space, The energy needed to light a few thousand LEDs does not even register on that scale.

I don’t think this kind of break through could have happened without all the advice, support and validation you’ve all given me. I know this is a lot about family/SO but it’s all linked back to MIL and how far her reach goes.

Last night DH called me at 6pm. He wanted to take DS to visit sMotherIL GW. I’ve been NC for 4 weeks with the 21st being the first time I broke that and responded to a text from SIL1, a flying monkey, instructing me to take my son to visit sMotherIL GW.

I was NOT comfortable with them seeing my DS at all, but had previously stated that if my DH supervised the visits, sMotherIL GW could see DS. The FM that physically assaulted me at DS’s birthday party lives there. So she’d be seeing him as well as sMother IL.

DH was irritated I told him he had to stay. He didn’t really agree with me not letting my DS be around them alone but he is willing to allow me to enforce this.

He had expressed this the morning before work that by me not going there and having NC, I was keeping DS from his family so when he bent over backwards to take him that same day- I knew he’d been in contact with them and they had been working on him to their benefit. DH is on day 13 of 12 hour days. He’s tired. He had told me the night before he didn’t. want to be around his family because they cause so much drama and his parents are horrible to him.

I have asked repeatedly that they either show me respect or at very least stop publicly saying rude things. I brought this up at 7:15 when he got home from work and was taking DS out of bed (bed time is between 7:30 and 8, but he missed his nap and had gone to bed on his own. Since sMother ILAble

He said “what more do you want from me? I’m going to be there with him”.

I said “I want you to stand up to them and defend me , but that’s been a problem for you these past 7 years! I bet they’re talking shit on Facebook still and you haven’t done anything about it aren’t they.”

DH says “you have full access to my computer. Go check. I don’t follow them”.

So I did what any self respecting person would. I took him up on the offer and called his bluff. He didn’t think I would actually do it!!! As soon as he realized I was going to he starts saying never mind I’ll call sMotherIL and cancel.

FFS people and don't bitch when your foods late

While the NBA and Adam Silver certainly aren't perfect and aren't immune to bad PR (Morey's tweet about Hong Kong/China), I can't help but think at how much better off the NBA is for the future with Adam Silver at the helm. He listens to suggestions made by the owners, players and hell even the fans! He's willing to negotiate and deviate from norms for a better product for the players and fans. He's well respected in the league by all parties, including fans. He's handled crisis' reasonably well (Donald Sterling). Meanwhile, we have the MLB and Robert Manfred who are just fumbling about with this whole Astro's cheating scandals. The MLB has players calling for Manfred to step down. The MLB's equivalent to LeBron/Curry (Mike Trout and Aaron Judge) have both voiced their displeasure with the handling of the situation. Even LeBron and other sports athletes have voiced their opinions on the matter.

We are lucky to have Adam Silver and I can't help but feel like the NBA is in good hands for a long long time.

The gun has had SO much potential since y1 d1, but it’s main drawback is the ridiculous unnecessary laughable screen shake. Isn’t the whole point of the catalysts to make the weapon better? Well the Hardlights sure as shit doesn’t feel like it. If the catalyst was just only to remove the screen shake, then it would have became one of, if not, the single best auto rifle in the game. Too bad autos are shit compared to EVERY other weapon set out there, except scouts. These catalysts that’ve been in the game files for over a YEAR, and they are incredibly lackluster. Please try and fix these catalysts, exotics are supposed to be good, and that’s hard to say when 80% of them, including Hardlight, are absolutely garbage compared to some legendaries. Those exotics DESPERATELY needs some loving.

Edit: I’m not saying remove it completely, since it has no damage fall off, but holy shit it’s still unwarranted.
