People get into crypto for money. But it is not just that. It gives people, especially millennials and Gen-Z a sense of ownership ("I have a stake in this network"), shared value ("I'm a part of this vibrant and die-hard community"), and freedom ("I take my own risk to be rich or get rekted"). As a result, building a vibrant community and brand awareness is absolutely critical to the success of any crypto project. It is also a huge weakness of Hedera whether we like it or not.

I didn't think this was unpopular until tonight when /r/all was covered in boring announcements about games that I don't care about. Maybe I'm just getting old, but nobody ever cared about these things when I was a teenager. Shitty video game boxes would be covered in "game of the year" awards from multiple ceremonies-- none of which actually indicated any modicum of quality in the actual game.
Are you going to buy a game because it won an award? If not, then why do you care?
