My 4 year old son and boyfriend were hit head on doing 75mph from an elderly man going the wrong direction on the highway. My boyfriends Toyota 4Runner saved their lives being a tank of a truck!

Any 4Runner, Sequoia, or any other vehicle that has a rear-gate window that opens; ever use the feature while driving?
I like the ability to open it if needed but it sucks in all the exhaust and swirls any interior dirt onto the driver and passengers.
Looking to buy an 03 4runner, 105k miles. It's in new York. Rust is a concern so I asked owner for pics underneath. Does this rust look bad or is it an easy fix?

I have a Wrangler. Took me two years to decide between that and a 4Runner. But I still love 4Runners. We all bought our rigs to do the same shit. So sometimes I wave. Have had some confused looks lol. Plus the Wrangler community is way more judgmental. Caught a bunch of shit for changing out my grill (and it wasn’t even angry eyes).
Anyway, the “rivalry” between the two is stupid. They’re both awesome vehicles. Yours will last 200k miles longer than mine but I can take my roof off. So can you with enough effort, but it’s just not the same.

Hello all, this is my 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. I bought it new when it came out and I have fallen in love with it. It is completely stock, and I would like to make some modifications. Any suggestions/recommendations? Thanks!
Considering a 4Runner as a daily driver and wanting advice from owners
I'm thinking of potentially replacing my 2015 Rav4 with a 5th gen 4Runner because I'd like the ability to tow my motorcycle on road trips. My bike is heavy, and combined with the trailer they weigh about 1700 lbs which is 200 lbs above rated capacity for the Rav4. I only buy Toyota, and I've always liked 4Runners so they seem like a good option, but I'm concerned about how well they'd work as a daily driver. I drive a ton, including a 100 mile round trip interstate commute a couple of times a week, and my area often gets extremely windy so good handling at 75-80 mph in crosswinds is important. I test drove one yesterday and loved the way it handled, but unfortunately it wasn't a windy day so I didn't get to test the handling. Also, how's your fuel mileage?
