A list of puns related to "Yardman"
Hello all,
I have an issue with my yardman snowblower 13hp / 33 inches model : 31AE993IR01
The camshaft has to be replaced but the Tecumseh company doesn't exist anymore and it's almost impossible to find the part. I did found one on ebay in the states for 19$ but since I live in Canada, it comes to 100$ because of the shipping. The part # I need is : "Tecumseh OHSK130 Camshaft 35682A".
Any idea if I could find this somewhere in Canada... I guess new or used.
Thank you.
The engine starts and runs excellent and will continue to run until it is turned off. Once off, the engine will start again if the key is turned over within a few seconds of turning off, however, if the engine sits warm for a minute or two it will not start again. The engine will just continue to turn over but never start. If the engine is left to cool down for about an hour, it will start up again just fine.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Edit 1: Tested both spark plugs when cold - both sparking. Tested both spark plugs when hot - one stronger and one is weak with the odd spark.
Edit 2: It was the ignition coil! The replacement I bought was faulty out of the box.
SOLVED!

I didn't use it for a while, replaced the drive belt recently. when started, engine running and belt rotate, but Shaft Auger Assembly didn't move.
Then I add some lubricate on the two bolt which hold the Shaft Auger Assembly. Now the belt is able to drive Shaft Auger Assembly, but only for a few seconds then it stop.
The gas tank is almost 3/4 full, and I didn't change oil yet.
what could be the root cause of this issue?
Thank you!
My dad is very diligent when it comes to his yard work; you couldn't ask for better lawn care when it comes to his dedication to my parents' large front and side lawn; grass is always evenly mowed and edged, leaves raked, hedges trimmed.
In recent years, though, it seems that he is always battling some kind of large scale nuisance when it comes to his lawn; dead patches of grass due to fungus, soil degradation, dead or dying trees and shrubs. I, as a gardener, have tried to explain to him some gardening concepts - like the fact that lawns are mono-cultures, shrubbery blooms best when pruned judiciously, and all problems cannot be solved with a bag of Weed n' Feed - in an attempt to get him to approach his lawn care from a more scientific or holistic mindset.
While he is not completely resistant to my lectures, he is very much stuck in his old ways. Don't even get me started on our attempts at composting.
In addition, my mother, in recent years, has become much more attached to her flowering shrubs and trees, and his broad-stroked, unsatisfactory maintenance of them has become a point of contention; especially now that one of their huge elm trees is dying.
I love reading about gardening, both online and in books, but I don't think my dad would dive in to a market-gardening book or homesteading anthology in the way that I would. Could anyone recommend a publication that might help my dad re-frame the way he thinks about caring for his yard, without it being too overwhelming?
TL;DR I need a book that will turn my dad from a yard-man into a gardener.
Remember to posT if you got the "riddle".
Well that's out of the way, there will be a key quest starting soon so up-vote the thread we can all get in here for some key hunting fun.
I'm not 100% on any ideas for quest so put your ideas in the comments.
I am thinking about applying for a job in Oil & gas in West Texas but i want to make sure I am applying for the right position.
The position is described as a 'Yardman' but seems like it is a higher level warehouseman basically.
What I want to find out is the differences (if any) between a yardman and a warehouseman and what i can expect to be doing for this job. I have experience in Warehousing jobs but not in Oil & Gas.
Any help on this would be really appreciated.
