This is something that's happened almost every single time I've died in WH space, usually due to being pounced on, locked down then obliterated within moments. Sometime I've managed to lead them on funny chases around the system until I inevitably get caught out and get killed - but it's always really entertaining despite dying.
But on literally the vast majority of the times it's happened (I'm a rather innocent, unprepared pilot just looking to hit a quick data/relic site) the Pilot has sent me a nice PM or mail giving me tips or saying thanks for the content, and attaching hefty amounts of isk compared to what the ship was worth.
Never elsewhere in my times being killed off has this happened - do WH players live in an entirely different existence to the rest of the player-base? It's honestly wholesome and makes going into the WH's a fun prospect to see what happens :D
I know lots of stuff uses different distance. Normal distance in the overview for eg is calculate by using the edge of the ships to my knowlage. But what about the turret range or tracking? What are they using? Particulary interesting for dreads (or titans) if you still can track them if they are rly close as you still "get" tue distance between the ships core and the other ship or if its untrackable since the distance gets close to 0 and has a rly high angular velocity. I searched for hour on the internet and could find any source. Pls eve pros can anybody help.
- As a bonus question. Why the fu is an nidhoggur with an mwd (mass of 1.230m kg +500m kg) not able to close oversized wh which is supposed to have a mass of 3.300 million kg. (Jumping hot in and out) i always wondered and have been not able to find it out.? Anybody any ideas?

I've started using the WH 40K app to keep track of my armies. I've noticed that there isn't any settings for apocalypse armies or rules. On the app is apocalypse not meant for it or do you just put together an army list like normal for Apocalypse and just ignore the point limits?
I don't know if all PC's are directly comparable on this, but out of curiosity, which % do you put your volume at? I usually had it at 40% up until now, but now I'm realizing that was probably too much for how long I tend listen to music on Spotify daily.
I turned it down to 25% to be safer, I can already hear a very faint ringing in my right ear at night sometimes, and I'm not sure it was there before. I really wish there was an easy to measure decibels from headphones so I could finetune it.
Hey guys, I broke my WH-1000XM4 a couple of months ago when I took them off. A piece of plastic broke off from the swivel hanger and this U-formed flat metall piece popped out as well. I tried attaching a picture but my internet isn't good enough. Since then I have been using them by tying a scarf around my head with the headphones on but obviously this isn't a solution for when I want to wear them in public. So I am looking for a way to repair them myself. I know many people have had this issue in the past. I am quite untalented when it comes to this type of stuff and have never worked with a soldering iron before and don't know if I even need one for this repair. I thought about drilling a screw into the swivel hanger and another in the swivel and connecting them with a metal piece. Has anyone successfully repaired their headphones this way or any other way? I tried tape but that only hold for a couple of minutes. Any advice is welcome. I would rather try repairing them and break them in the process rather than not to try at all.
My second question is: is there an alternative to Sony headphones? I loved the sound quality and the noice cancelling, but am quite pissed about the bad manufacturing and the customer service. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Again, any advice is welcome!
I bought a pair of WH-1000XM4s a few days ago. I'm very happy with them, I just have a quick question. Is there a noticeable ANC hiss when nothing is playing? I have a pair of earphones with decent ANC in them, and I never noticed a hiss beyond a small ignorable one. When I bought the headphones a few days ago, I was under the impression that ANC hiss wasn't really a thing anymore. I don't mind if I was mistaken, I still love them and will get over the hiss eventually, I'd just like to know if that's common amongst all pairs or is there a defect with mine? Does anyone know how the size of the earcup of the wh1000 compares to the 710? I live in a small town, dat can't check locally, but the 710 at a local store was a bit small.
Random question if you lovely folks will indulge me. What do you put in the net part on the outside of your carrying case? It looks nice, but I can’t think of any practical use for it. All the cables fit inside the case, putting a phone in there is clunky. Anyone have any creative uses?

I am considering purchasing the WH-1000XM4 however I do not see answers online to the main questions I have.
I spend most of my time at a Windows 10 PC and this is therefore where they would get the most use. I hear mixed information regarding the quality of audio on Windows 10 both in EQ and in latency.
When I use my Galaxy Buds, the amount of bluetooth audio latency is in the discomforting range, taking almost 300-500ms, which completely ruins video content for me.
I understand I can use the 3.5mm input for audio which should resolve the issue, and as I am currently using wired USB headphones, dealing with a 3.5mm cable isn't at all a problem for me, however that leads to a few other questions:
- Can I charge the headphones whilst listening over Bluetooth or 3.5mm? As I sit at a desk it seems silly to cycle the battery.
- Can the WH-1000XM4 do USB audio? If I could just have 1 cable capabale of charging and doing low latency high quality digital audio that would be great and match my existing setup.
- Does EQ work over the 3.5mm jack? I know I'd have to configure EQ in the app.
- Would bluetooth on Windows 10 be aweful with EQ and latency?

Edit: Appears battery isn't an issue, but latency issues with Windows unless you get something like a FiiO BTA30 or use wired.

What debt is this? I couldn't find any reference to it in various synopses and guides I feel safe looking at online. The only other time I remember them even meeting was in the hallway in the palace when she and Teslyn tried to convince him to return to the White Tower. If it's something that will be clarified soon then feel free to tell me to just wait.
Side question, if anyone happens to know, I bought "the world of RJ's WOT" book a while ago, and promptly spoiled something for myself within moments of opening it. (Technically I've read the first 11 books before, back in the mid '00s, but I've forgotten an awful lot of what happens). When is it safe to read through that? In otherwords, what book does it have spoilers up to? I see it was published between CoS and PoD, so is it safe for me now? Thanks!

Honestly I'm not sure why he views that as a debt when the warning wasn't very specific or helpful, but Two Rivers folks seem to have some very set ideas about honor and obligation (see what I did there?).
Hi, I don't know if any of these questions have been answered previously, if so, please point me to the answers. I tried searching for them, but didn't find anything sufficient.
- If I connect the headphones to the computer through a 3.5 mm cable, should the headphones be turned on or does analog input work passively?
- Can I configure them such that the left earcup is 50% transparent and plays music, and the right one is 100% transparent? I want to wear them outside but don't want to either hurt the music quality much or be run over by a car because I didn't hear it approaching. I never wear both headphones/earphones while I'm outside.
- I know that they can connect to two devices. How does the switch work? When the sound is found in a device? I know that if I was listening to music on a laptop and someone called me on the phone, the headphones will switch to the phone. Will it pause music on the laptop? Do I have to just start playing the music afterwards in order to switch back or do I have to press some button?
I watched a couple or three reviews and not one answered my questions.
These questions are the only questions I have about the headphones, and their answers will impact my choice.
Also, I'd like to know your personal opinion of their durability so far. I've read somewhere that XM3s were subject to plastic cracking in some places, and that XM4s were kinda better in this regard. Also I've heard the opposite opinion – nothing changed in their construction. I strongly believe the truth is somewhere in the middle and that's why I want to know the answer to that as well.
