Need help identifying this NE Florida waterbird.
Spotted in a lake back yard. Broadlly striped breast. About the size and shape of a night heron. The adult was feeding a juvenile. There was a reddish tail tip visible in flight.

Police activity on Waterbird(?) near Benton
Almost got t-boned on Lawrence about 15 minutes ago when a pickup truck with its lights off blew through the light going northbound on Lawrence and turned left onto Benton. Saw a cop following him with his searchlight on so we decided to see what the drama was about(yeah, dumb, I know). Made a u-turn and followed another cop onto Waterbird where we saw other cop cars and cops taking up defensive positions behind their vehicles. Got the hell out quick but I'm curious if anyone knows what the drama was about?

I just got some new filament, from waterbird.ca, having issues with the first print already. I had zero issues until now with a $30 roll from Amazon. The new stuff was only $20 a roll, Canadian. How is your experience with expensive vs cheap filament?
