I'm paralyzed from the chest down with limited use of my arms. This is how I fret chords in drop D style tuning. I also figured out using a thumb pick around my ring finger works really good. Feel free to ask any questions on how I play. Aloha

Hi guys! I'm so happy you guys are digging the videos! Here's another that I really hope you'll enjoy.
I've mentioned before but again I discovered using a thumb pick on my middle finger works great for picking. And i use the palm of my left hand to fret my chords like a slide.
This is my 1997 Washburn D333 Dimebag guitar in Dimeslime finish. I'm playing straight into my Line 6 head on the Insane channel with a bit of delay and thru a 2x12 cab in stereo. Aloha π€
For those who have played both, how do the actions compare?
I currently have the Rover but, even with extra-light strings, the action is stiffer than I would like and I'm wondering how the Traveler compares. There are no local shops who stock the Traveler where I live so I can't try one out in person.
I have a Washburn dimebolt guitar and I am curious on the date. The serial number is SK00027995.
When I have tried to look it up, I canβt find anything close. Figured someone bored could possibly help me.
I got the guitar around 13 years ago, the person before me bought it new. (My cousin got it, was going to sell it after having it for awhile and I was in love with it so my great grandma bought it off him instead of him pawning it. Has been worth the yard work lol)
Iβm not looking to sell it or anything, Itβs kinda a heirloom now. I was just curious to know more about it.
I find this forum super helpful! Thanks!!
Hello,
Decided to buy my first electric guitar. For the budget Iβm willing to spend, those two are my options. I couldnβt find any info online about the Washburn, but Iβve played the Squier and it really suits me. Which one would you suggest? Thanks in advance :)

So, I had a Sam Ash impulse buy. I went there to get a pedal, they didn't have it, so I looked around the store, and like a real guitarist I managed to walk out with another guitar. This is a Washburn guitar from 1909, sounds gorgeousβwhen I played it in the Sam Ash I was surprised with how loud it was considering it's so small - up until this point I had always played dreadnoughts. The back body binding was redone in the wrong color, and a previous owner had converted it to acoustic-electric, so I got it for under 1000βI guess it'd suck if I was a collector, but I'm not, I just really like how this guitar sounds.

Hi guys! I'm paralyzed from the chest down with limited use of my arms and have made a few adjustments to keep on playing crushing heavy music! I use a thumb pick on my index finger and I can mute and still get my 32nd notes in haha. I fret chords with my palm much like a slide.
I plug straight into my Line 6 head thru a 2x12 cab and I like the Insane channel with a touch of delay.
I hope you enjoy! Alohaπ€π€πͺπ¨βπ¦½
