Wacky problem with my new-to-me Genesis. I modded it to output RGB video over BNC. It turns on, and displays the SEGA logo beautifully so I know the mod is working, but the game is just a black screen. Music plays. Controller buttons do nothing. Any ideas?

What's a video game, console, controller, or other gaming related physical item do you own or want to own solely for display purposes?
Japanese copies of the original Sonic games for me personally.

Video display controller Ic?
Hello all. I've been working on my breadboard computer again and waa thinking of including a simple video display controller.
There seem to be a few types about and I was half thinking about tms1198 from 1979, I've not worked with one before, but I was thinking if I could find something easy to use, still readily available that generates a video signal without having to worry too much about all the timing circuits.
What recommendeds do people have? I don't mind if it's monochrome, largely that it's readily available and easy to use!
Thanks! :D

For my TDS controller project I purchased TM1637 led display board which cost is below 1$ from AliExpress. I have tested it with Arduino Uno. It seems pretty good. Check out my YouTube video (not professional youtuber) but it helps for getting started on it.

How do i make a controller that can scrub through a video smoothly for a display?
Hi, i am fairly new to electronics and programming and i might struggle with some of the technical jargons.
Basically, i would like to create an interactive display for a product i am working on. I am preparing an animation for each of the productβs functions and i wanted to be able to scrub through the video on the display freely by sliding a linear potentiometer back and forth.
Is there a way for me to achieve this function with an arduino kit..? And would i be able make it so that i could switch between a few different animations on the display with the controls? Any help would be great, thank you..!

My first video game ever was super metroid. It got me into gaming and is the reason I have so many great memories with a controller in my hand. Thank you, Samus. And thank you Nintendo.

Customer came in and asked if there were any controllers. GA told them no. They then proceeded to gut all the display boxes and walk out of the store, leaving them like this.

Hi, this is SMALLEST seven segment display that can be found on internet. It is 6 digit 0.2" inch 7 segment display. It it smaller than microcontroler on Arduino Uno. I used max7219 ic to control it. Check comments of this reddit post for whole video!

Tennis for Two (also known as Computer Tennis) was one of the first video games ever created. The game was designed in 1958 by American physicist William Higinbotham. It was displayed on an oscilloscope and played using two custom aluminum controllers. It was developed in only a few hours.

More proof that G5 is actually controlled by Drive Knight? In Chapter 119, Machine God G5 displays a video of Futoshi running with Waganma from when Futoshi hadn't lost weight yet and has no cuts on his belly, so it doesn't look live. That would have been before Nyan even showed up above ground.

Steam no longer displays one of my non-Steam games in my library, all associated controller configs are also gone, can someone assist me in locating these files?
I used to launch Battle.net through Big Picture Mode and used to have configurations for several Blizzard games.
For some reason, Bnet no longer shows up in my library and all of my configs (that I spent a lot of time working on) seem to be gone also. I've searched my hard drive for .vdf files, and some turn up, some are even for Bnet games. However, these Bnet configs I found are 5+ years old, the ones I need are far newer.
Has anything like this happened to anyone else, maybe with a different non-Steam game/launcher? I'm wondering if this has something to do with the new Bnet client.
