I'm probably coming off as a petty and envious asshole for saying this, but recently a youtuber I like started uploading videos that go along the lines of "I spent (insert ridiculous amount of money) on (insert useless shit)". Normally I'd avoid content like this, but I took a look anyway out of curiosity. Now, I don't like going around telling people what to do with their own money, and I know that this premise isn't anything new, but it still baffles me that this type of videos are so popular and profitable. To me, not only it isn't interesting or enjoyable to watch, but it also comes off as a complete tone-deaf move from the part of the creator, considering the state of the world's economy, and the fact that much of the appeal of youtubers is that they feel relatable.
I don't know, once again, maybe I'm just being butthurt about it because I have no money to flounder around, but I wanted to rant a little bit about it.

In honor of all award cabinet holders, and 50th day of mine becoming established (half way to day 100), I’m using this challenge to celebrate you all! It's like some animated kids show where the boys somehow find themselves having to go into the girls' bathroom and they discover it's this massive ball-room type place with chandeliers, marble floors, music, fountains, etc. Does this ring a bell for anyone? (It might also have been the teachers' lounge now that I think about it, like it's a place the main characters have never seen and only rumors about)
So my halfling PC found a pair of the most ostentatious boots that he's ever seen in his life. We're talking bright clashing colours, bells, buckles that don't do anything...the works.
Does anyone have a picture like that? Or just a picture of the craziest boots you've ever seen.
Title explains the situation. I’m looking for something that’s a decent performance car but I truly cannot stand the ostentatious styling of muscle cars like mustang/camaro/corvette type cars. I like driving the WRX but it is already a little high on the “douche factor” for me, anything louder in terms of styling (eg an STI) is not something I’d want to drive around in.
So basically I’m looking for something under about 50k that is good performance (think: better performance than a late model WRX) but does not have the super loud styling—to each their own but it’s not something I’m into. It must be a manual transmission. All wheel drive is preferred but RWD is not necessarily a deal breaker. I understand this narrows it down a lot.
Main things on my radar are the upcoming new Golf R, a 2016-2018 340i or a similar era M240i or M235i. Any others that I’m missing?
I very much like the ostensibly ornate armors that we can see on the covers of books and other arts. Or on "Horus Heresy" models. Something that is heavy with ornements and i feel like 40K models, especially Primaris :'( Lack in this department.
I heavily kitbashed my characters such as my chapter master, my other captain, both are heavy with relics and stuff. And my Dreadnought too, i made him a walking altar of war with relics, iconography and a bunch of other stuff (biggest kitbash so far).
So anyone got ideas? To ornate our unforgiven a bit more? Loincloth, tabards, relics, ornements and stuff?.
