Hey guys! I just finished S9 for the first time (I know, I’m behind) and am really a fan of Sasha. Her looks, her sense of humor, and especially how smart she seems — so I decided to look up her education background.
It turns out, both of her parents are super smart; her dad is a Russian Lit professor and mom is the former editor of the Yale University Press. And they raised Sasha to be an academic too: they put her in a laboratory high school, which I didn’t know existed!
Then she went to a Little Ivy, Vassar College, was a fucking Fulbright scholar in Moscow, and got her MFA. Damn. No wonder she seems so educated— she really is. Sorry for fangirling, I just love her whole sophisticated, intellectual vibe and was still surprised to learn where it came from!
(Disclaimer: I can tell that she came from a lot of privilege, and had more financial/educational/artistic development opportunities than most drag queens do. I don’t want to discount the queens who didn’t finish high school/go to college. You can still be super smart and sophisticated without going to an Ivy League, of course!)

Have they discontinued it? I can't find it anywhere in stores or on Joann's website anymore. The texture is a dream, and I vehemently preferred its classic jewel tones over Bernat Velvet's colorways.
So, first of, no she was not present, but a photo of her helped me with a part of a lesson. I teach ESL to kids, and a segment of the lesson involved talking about going shopping, using a big where's waldo style photo of people in a shop, I saw a man looking at a rack of dresses and called the students attention to it, and asked if they thought he would be buying one. one girl very vehimently said No, that he wasn't allowed to because dresses were for girls. and for the first go round I said maybe he was buying it for his daughter, she said no, he still wasn't allowed.
so then I went round about the other way. "Well, Maybe the dress is for him?" she, and the other students looked at me absolutely shocked, so I quickly pulled up the googler, and got a picture of Sasha to show the girls. they asked if Sasha was really a boy, for simplicity's sake I said yes (I know, I know) and that really seemed to confuse, and impress them.
TLDR: A Picture Sasha helped me befuddle some gradeschoolers. and everyone clapped.

I have a beautiful pair of Focal Clear MGs that I unfortunately have to let go of. They're in fantastic condition! I bought them in October, but only used for a few weeks while trying other headphones. I have the stock pads, but these will also include Dekoni elite velour pads which I found did not change the sound, but made them extremely comfortable. Let me know if you'd like me to put the stock ones back on before shipping.
I have the original box, the original cables (both balanced xlr, and the SE which terminates to a 1/8", but has a 1/4" adapter), and the original protective carrying case.
I'm asking $1100 shipped, but I'm open to offers. I will include insurance with the shipping.

I'm still awaiting my shipment for the blue velour long sleeve. It was from 11/11, which was Tiffany week, I think? Anybody else having an issue with this?
