A list of puns related to "University Of Dundee"
Anyone studying at Abertay? What is it like? Would you recomend? Is Dundee a nice city?
Hi there, I'm planning to study in the UK (I'm from Singapore) and I'm having a hard time deciding between University of Dundee and University of Lincoln. I'm planning to study Illustration in both unis. I'll be starting in year 2 for Dundee as I already have a Diploma in Animation. So I'm kind of worried that I won't be able to catch up with other students as I don't have a foundation in Illustration myself? Idk. I'm kind of lost so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hello /r/Scotland
I have a dream of studying in Scotland and I looked up some universities. I noticed that university of Dundee doesn't have insane entry requirements (I'm looking to study graphic design) which made me consider applying there. Does anyone here study at said university? What is it like and what kind of a reputation does it have? Also if you have any advice on universities or studying in Scotland in general that would be hugely appreciated as well. Cheers.
I am applying for a Computer Science BSc degree and was wondering which of the 2 universities is better; or better put, the differences between them. I am looking for a more practical course (as in not Edinburgh theoretical). I am not set on the gaming industry, even though that interests me, so I will not be applying to any game-related programs. I want information primarily related to the course, and secondarily related to the uni itself (i.e. campus).
Thanks a bunch!
Just like the title says I am currently contemplating wether I should study at the university of Aberdeen or Dundee. I'm an international student so I don't know the cities all to well. Which one do you reckon is the better in terms of city life, reputation, and academics? The offer at both universites are for a degree in mathematics & physics. All and any advice is appreciated.
Cheers!
We should change them to something from the songs at least. I like these two options personally.

Seriously. Buy a lottery ticket...or at least some lights/reflectors for your bike (Iβll even give you mine).
I was driving north on Buffalo Grove Rd in the right lane, between Hintz and Dundee, when I was just barely able to see a dark, shadowy βsomethingβ just sitting there DIRECTLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RIGHT LANE/ROAD, in time to slam on the breaks and swerve into the left lane (and practically the oncoming left lane).
It wasnβt until as I swerving/came to a stop, that I even realized that it was a dude...just standing there with his bike in the middle of the road (Iβm pretty sure he didnβt move an inch throughout the entire thing, either). I saw no reflector, lights etc. All I saw when I swerved was a very partial silhouette of, Iβm guessing, his upper torso - even after rolling down the passenger-side window and speaking to him from 15 feet away, I have no idea what he looked like, what he was wearing, what color it was.
So, after I stopped, I rolled down the window in order to speak to him, honestly, with the intention of yelling βGET THE F**K OUT OF THE ROAD!,β but somehow βare you okay?β came out of my mouth, instead (relief overpowered the rage, I suppose). And he responded, while heavily slurring his words, with something along the lines of, βI had to move out of your way...β (at the time, it came across to me like he was blaming me...I immediately wished I had yelled out my first choice, lol). So I said, βhave a good one,β and drove off...and then drove completely freaked out/nervous - on high alert, looking for drunks wandering in the middle of the road - on the way back to Arlington Heights.
I guess the point of this is that, as cliche as it sounds, youβve basically been given a second chance at life...and you may not even remember it. Iβm not exaggerating. Ironically, the fact that it was raining mightβve saved your life - if I wasnβt driving 5-10 mph slower, paying extra attention and driving more cautiously in general than usual, due to the rain, I doubt I would have seen you and/or had stopped in time (if I saw you at the exact same moment while going 5-10mph faster, I wouldβve plowed right over you).........So, stop to smell the roses, stop to boop the puppiesβ snoots, whatever, if you want - just donβt stop in the middle of the road, particularly if youβre wasted.
