A list of puns related to "Unappeasable"
The new season has been out 4 hours.
βForget getting used to a new map and new meta, letβs just hate on the season. β
I absolutely cannot stop eating. I'm 20 years old, 6'2", ~205 pounds. I don't consider myself overweight, im pretty flat-stomached, pretty active.
I can eat and eat and eat and 30 minutes later it will be like I haven't eaten all day.
An average day is like so:
Morning: Waffles, probably 3 or so. Banana, coffee (~3 cups) Lunch: An entire pizza, 2x Diet Coke, probably 3 cookies or so as a snack a little bit later. Dinner: Two huge chicken breasts, oven cooked. 2x Large (32oz) ice water. 8-12 ounces of rice, brocoli. ~7:30ish: Egg sandwich. 3x eggs, 2 slices of cheddar, and Miracle Whip. Banana 9:00: 2x cans of tuna, with jalapenos and Rooster sauce mixed in. Midnight: Apple, 2x wrap filled with whatever I can find (Chicken, cheese, salsa most of the time)
Anywhere in there I'll eat a PB&J if I get a sudden hunger. I'll probably space 3 of those in there a day.
My excercise consists of: Walking across campus probably 8 times a day. 1 hour of rollerblading if weather permits, if not I'll attempt to go to the ice arena and ice skate there. Computer programming. lots of it. ;-D
I maybe gain half a pound to a pound a month, which I could probably reverse that.
Is this normal? Or is there something wrong with me. I'm constantly hungry...
Edit: I didn't mean too, but I posted this on my new novelty account... oh well.
First, everyone was complaining about how defense on heist was stupidly broken and OP, now Supercell releases a map where offense actually has a better chance than defense, and so now everyone complains about the one map where offense has the advantage compared to the other three maps where defense has a slight advantage. Seriously???? smh
Edit - so apparently people think it's hard to win on offense... either they're not playing correctly or they're not using the right combo. My bandmates and I can consistently pull off a win on offense with bull, barley, and a free spot (primo, mike, piper, jessie). And some think it's hard to win on defense. Once again, my bandmates and I can somewhat pull off defensive wins with the proper combo. Anybody that doesn't see that offense has an advantage on this map either hasn't played long enough or hasn't played well enough to win on offense.
Take my word for it, this map gives offense a way better chance than the other maps do. You know why? Because this map doesn't have extreme choke points. The few entrances and fence breaks are in good spots where the whole defense team can't guard only one spot. They have to manage both entrances, and moving between them requires a long navigation through fences and boxes. There's no singular path to the safe - bandit stash: barley on the sides or rush the middle choke point - kaboom canyon: the sides and down the middle when the middle fence is broken - safe zone: needs no explanation. GG Corral has multiple routes you can take. For defense on this map, it's very hectic.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!

Heard they've been doing some shady business.
but then I remembered it was ground this morning.
Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me that my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments
BamBOO!

TL;DR - If you've read or written a gen fic recently that you love, please rave about it and share a link! ALL fandoms welcome! For the purposes of this post I'll define gen as any fic rated G-M, with romance as a secondary plot or none at all.
**
I've never had any interest in reading ship or smut fics (obligatory: not that there's anything wrong with them!) and more and more in recent years I feel like a complete outsider in the fanfic community.
Precious little gen fic gets posted in the fandoms I frequent, and I get so self-conscious about the complete lack of response to my own that I usually delete my stories within a few months of posting. I realize that deleting means I'm only contributing to the scarcity problem, but my shoddy mental health simply can't handle pouring my heart out into an empty void.
Anyway, if you're also a lover of gen fic, or even if you've only ever enjoyed one or two, please go ahead and rave about it! Gush to me about one that you're writing! Share a link, if it's posted!
I'm hoping maybe I can discover some new fandoms today where gen fics aren't so scarce, or at least talk with others who love them and appease a little bit of the loneliness I've been feeling.

My own rave, to get things started:
I'm currently writing a super self-indulgent and way-too-ambitious crossover fic between the video game Dead by Daylight and the movie Cabin in the Woods. I won't be posting this one, but I'm having a blast writing it!
It's a fandom fusion, inspired by my stray thought that the 'Ancient Ones' from CitW and DbD's 'Entity' have practically the same motivations, and with a wee bit of tweaking could be the exact same big bad. Once I started really thinking on it, I decided there were tons more similarities between the two properties and I just became super inspired.
Plot-wise it's a sort-of sequel to Cabin in the Woods, wherein the events of the movie took place entirely within a simulation being run by the Organization. This simulation reveals the inevitability that, one day, enough survivors will succeed against the odds to leave the Ancient Ones unappeased. Cue the end of the world, unless the Organization develops a new method of satiating the Ancient Ones' hunger.
And thus, DbD is created. Target individuals are abducted from around the world, and along with the Organization's stockpile of 'Killers', are plugged into a virtual reality to suffer endlessly at the will of the Ancient Ones/Entity.
And that's the
