A list of puns related to "Implacable"
I'm not sure what I think of the upcoming further restrictions (and I'm not qualified to comment anyway), but I will say that I'm not a fan of the way too many people are talking about it.
The disease isn't a moral force: behave well and do your penance and you'll be allowed to socialise. It's a public health matter, and decisions should be made on the basis of what's best for public health, not on the basis of "rewarding" those who have "done their bit".
"I've worn a mask for twenty months, so I should be allowed to party" is, I'm afraid, a non sequitur.
I recently bought the camouflage for the Implacable CV from the winter event but I do not own her yet. Will the camo be stored until I get enough xp or have I lost it forever?

Does Barkskin affect the further 20% damage dealt by Implacable?
Like seriously, it seemed that everytime the author would post an update the thread would be locked shortly after. Am I looking too deep into this? Or did they seriously have a grudge against the author?
Iβm close to being done with furious and wanna know if implacable is worth it
>"He walked out in the gray light and stood and he saw for a brief moment the absolute truth of the world. The cold relentless circling of the intestate earth. Darkness implacable. The blind dogs of the sun in their running. The crushing black vacuum of the universe. And somewhere two hunted animals trembling like ground-foxes in their cover. Borrowed time and borrowed world and borrowed eyes with which to sorrow it."
β Cormac McCarthy, The Road
Hello! Like many of you, I have been thoroughly enjoying the new warrior priest class for saltzpyre. However, I noticed I was taking an obscene amount of damage over time from the Implacable passive - ticks of close to 20 damage after taking an elite overhead.
My interpretation of this passive is that Saltzpyre has an immediate 20% damage reduction. After that, a further 20% will be taken as 3 ticks of damage over time over 3 seconds. For example, if you took a 50 damage hit, the following would occur:
- 30 damage immediately
- 3 ticks of 3.3 damage (totaling 10 damage)
Total damage taken: 40
I decided to do some very basic tests on this. I took a regular swing from a Raider on Legend difficulty, which does 50 damage at base to my Grail Knight who has no damage reduction. When I took the same swing on my Warrior Priest, the following happened:
- 30 Damage immediately
- 3 ticks of 6 damage (totaling 18 damage)
Total damage taken: 48
It looks like the damage over time portion of the Implacable passive is dealing the wrong amount of damage. It should be dealing 20% of the damage (10 in this example) over time, but is instead dealing 18, or roughly 36%. Furthermore, equipping barkskin had no effect on this damage, though that may or may not be intentional.
After 15 days, 2 cannon chapters, and god knows how many omakes it is locked again.

Personally, I don't get SB moderation policies. What do I care about derailments. I am only interacting with threads based on threadmarks and omake threadmarks, so locking a thread that produces loads of amusing omakes, because stuff I don't have to see is from my perspective as stupid as the online service that shuts itself down because somebody runs a DOS attack on it. (You don't believe how many managers I have seen in my job who have that bright idea but I digress). You have toxic people you don't want around. Thread ban them. Seriously what is it with the "we had to destroy the village in order to save it" moderation?
Wesley. Everyone knew Wesley, but me especially. I learned the hard way how to deal with Wesley, and deal with him I did. Let me tell you the tale of how I knew Wesley. This was a long time ago, but I remember it down to the last detail.
Once upon a time, Wesley was a regular customer of our chain. He used to go to a different branch, but, when they closed down, he found himself with no choice but to come to mine. I was a well-seasoned employee by the time Wesley started coming to our store. He was in a sour mood that first day, and indeed every day after it: for he now had to travel ten minutes further than before to get our food. I suspected that Wesley literally needed to eat at our restaurant to survive. Why else would he come in every day, ready and willing to drop over twenty dollars on a meal? You would think he came here so often because he loved our meals. Yet, to see his face, you would be convinced every moment he spent here was the worst of his life.
I was first clued in to Wesley as a customer when he asked me to ensure his food was gluten-free. I have no problem with this, of course: many of us have needs that must be met, after all. I asked if he was celiac. He said to treat it like an allergy. Now, Wesleyβs meal happened to be made with barbecue sauce, which has gluten in it. He assured me it was fine. I asked him if he was sure, and I wouldnβt be able to make it gluten free, but he still insisted I prepare it at a separate station with clean utensils and gloves. He was growing angry, I could see, but still I ensured he knew it wouldnβt be allergen safe. Eventually, I believe he stopped listening to my warnings and questions, answering with a perfunctory βwhateverβ. Wesley swiped his card aggressively, and the transaction was made.
I washed my hands and shrugged my shoulders. I made the food just like any other, and I knew I couldnβt let the barbecue sauce touch the allergy station for the safety of other customers. When I finished the meal, a chicken dish with a gluten-free version of our made-to-order garlic bread side, I gave it to him. I also threw in a side of sriracha for free at his request, mostly because I typically donβt charge extra for sauces if theyβre asked for. It was then that he asked if I washed my hands. βOf course.β I said. He asked me if I used new knives. To this, I said no, as we only have the one gluten-free knife, and that was for customers with celiac.
βWhat?!β he cried, enraged. βI told you to treat it like
