A list of puns related to "Twelve Apostles"
"The rich men of the city, however, those who did not see fit even to acknowledge me, but who reveled in their wealth and pride - with such as these, therefore, do not dine in their houses nor be friends with them, lest their partiality influence you. For many in the churches have shown partiality to the rich, because they also are sinful, and they give occasion for others to sin."
Apparently gnostic Jesus was as much anti-capitalism as the biblical Jesus.
So theyβre not actually witness of Christ, but witnesses that Jesus Christβs name is truly Jesus Christ?
How do you be a witness of a name?
So the Didache written in the late first or early 2nd century. How would the CoC address thisspecifically:
βNow about baptism, baptize this way: after first uttering all of these things, baptize "into the name of the Father and of the son and of the holy Spirit" in running water. But if you do not have running water, baptize in other water. Now if you are not able to do so in cold water, do it in warm water. Now if you don't have either, pour water three times on the head, "into the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the holy Spirit." Iβve got a copy of The Living Christ and The Family: A Proclamation to the World hanging on my wall. In an effort to procrastinate my morning routine, I looked over each document and noticed how the former uses the term Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, while the latter uses Council of the Twelve Apostles.
Iβve heard both terms used before, and Iβm curious - are they interchangeable? Or are there circumstances where one term would be more accurate/appropriate than the other?
Based on your knowledge of the apostles, and how they behave, which of the twelve archetypal personalities would you assign to each of the apostles. It's ok if more than one of them is the same personality.
The 12 Archetypes
Archetype | Behavior | What They Seek |
---|---|---|
Ruler/The Father | Control | Provide Structure |
Creator/Artist | Innovation | Provide Structure |
Innocent/The Child | Safety | Spiritual Journey |
Sage | Knowledge/Understanding | Spiritual Journey |
Explorer/The Anima | Freedom | Spiritual Journey |
Rebel/Outlaw/Devil | Liberation | Leave A Mark |
Hero | Mastery | Leave A Mark |
Wizard/Magician/Wise Woman | Power | Leave A Mark |
Lover/The Maiden | Intimacy | Connect To Others |
Jester/Trickster | Pleasure/Enjoyment | Connect To Others |
Everyman/The Orphan | Belonging | Connect To Others |
Caregiver/The Great Mother | Service | Provide Structure |
Ideally, I'd like for them to each be a different personality, but I'm figuring that's probably not the case.
Here's a link that explains the personality types in more detail

I'm not familiar really with the actual personalities of the apostles, so I'd really appreciate help on this!
