A list of puns related to "Trunk Piston"
Where the left and right arms/pistons(?) are in the truck, the bolts where the arms connect and even the piston itself is starting to show rust. Very very very early stages. Is this going to be a problem down the line? Suggestions?
I bought the exact pistons for the frunk and trunk as recommended per the videos, and that numerous people on amazon have commented on, and after installing, the pistons are so strong they fling the frunk and trunk open so fast that they shake violently at the top. Some reviews on amazon have commented the same but I couldnβt find any solutions. Thinking the pistons might need to be βwornβ in, Iβve stood there raising and lowering my hood/trunk dozens of times.
FWIW, I donβt notice any bend or bulge in the hood when itβs closed.
Anyone else come across the same problem and have found a resolution?

Words Spoken We Fear who often went by the name Speaks or Fear was a black mantid, born on Mantid Prime AKA Hivehome AKA Anthill nearly sixty years before. He was largely quiet and unassuming, following the more bombastic and publicly visible Dreams of Something More to act as her social media specialist.
He was much more and the cover was a necessity.
Since the end of the C3 War and the fall of the Unified Council, Speaks had been involved with running cybersecurity for the entire diplomatic team as well as following up on GalNet and other electronic warfare threats.
Which amused him, since he had started out as an electronic warfare specialist with the Mantid Naval Forces.
While Dreams was more concerned with herding Lanaktallan diplomats and politicians into signing the treaties and lately, a harder job, just acknowledging that the world existed outside of their virtual worlds, Speaks was more worried about what exactly was going on in GalNet since SolNet had been wired in.
There had been a few odd things that cropped up that made him sit in his room and think deeply about what could possibly go on.
The attempted assassination of System Director Brentili'ik.
The assassination of several highly placed Lanaktallan with the Night Terran's MO that occurred after the retributive system had been taken offline.
Data adjustment coming out of the core Confederate systems.
Speaks had finely tuned senses after nearly a half century of clandestine operations and his senses told him that something was going on that was hidden from everyone's view.
Which is why he had prepared multiple disconnected work spaces in strange out of the way places.
The dumpster behind Charlie's Diner in the lower income section of Council City was one such operational space.
Being only three feet high and able to fold himself up tightly meant he needed less work space. A quick adjustment to the dumpster's barcode made sure that it wouldn't be disturbed by garbage trucks. Plastic lining, EM barr

I watched PENTA's VOD so that you wouldn't have to. Written by me, Pat.
Part 1 TL;DR: (this is 16 hours of notes, the TL;DR in itself is long)
Wrangler gets a phone call from Nero Calabrese that a female in a blue hat is giving out metamorphine to anyone who gets their car repaired at Otto's Autos.
Wrangler detains Mercury Frost who matches the description at Otto's Autos and finds metamorphine on her.
While driving back to MRPD, they pass by a warehouse that Mercury Frost owns. Wrangler drives up to it and asks permission to look inside. Mercury Frost grants her consent, and Wrangler finds a meth lab and large quantities of meth in the storage, along with IDs of members of Chang Gang's street team.
Wrangler locks down the properties of all IDs found and asks Nero Calabrese for more context, eventually leading to a raid on Mercury Frost, where nothing illegal was found.
Wrangler then calls Mari Posa, one of the IDs found in the warehouse, hoping to get more context. She admits that she has been given meth before, matching the strain in the warehouse, from Jaylen Carter Jr, another member in Street Team whose ID was found in the warehouse.
Wrangler submits a search warrant for Jaylen Carter Jr, but it is initially denied by Judge Crane.
Wrangler then submits a subpoena for Mercury Frost's phone and bank records, and is granted one.
Wrangler then finds a $50,000 transaction from JCJ to Frost for "materials".
Wrangler then resubmits a warrant for JCJ, which is approved for only his cars and apartment, not any of the properties he is a keyholder for.
Wrangler then raids JCJ, finding nothing illegal.
Wrangler then submits a subpoena for JCJ, which is swiftly approved.
After looking at JCJ's bank records and phone logs, Wrangler feels there is not enough to go off of to continue the raids. While heading to the courthouse to unlock everyone's properties, JCJ calls Wrangler and tells him had given meth to Mari Posa in the past.
Wrangler then takes this information and submits a warrant for the rest of the properties that JCJ is a keyholder for. While writing the warrant, Mari Posa is in the lobby of MRPD trying to trick dispatch into having her properties unlocked. Wrangler tries to detain her, but she flees on a motorbike.
While reviewing the evidence, Wrangler finds a transaction between JCJ and Kishawn Baker, where JCJ sen

This is something Iβve been meaning to do (those NSX yearly reviews really inspired me), but u/DarkFire989βs review gave me the kick in the pants to get this started. Hereβs my one-year review of my 2004 Mazda RX-8 that I bought in December 2020. I hope by the end of it, you can take away and understand the following:
Going to try to keep it somewhat concise, if you have any more questions on anything by all means ask!
The buying experience
In late 2020, I was in a position to own a car again after deciding that I was going to move out of NYC. Wanted to get into a sports car again (I had an Infiniti G35x daily and NA Miata sports car before) that I could semi-daily (WFH life), and I was pretty flexible budget wise as long as the car was something I would like, a good deal, and generally reliable. I am partial to high-revving sporty cars thatβs slightly βout of the normβ to help you understand my biases.
I heard of this specific RX-8 in particular as it was my friend's dad's car that he had owned since new. He bought the car new in Aug 2003 (previously owned a 1979 RX-7 and loved that) and drove it daily for years with my friend in the backseat. I always liked the RX-8 from m

1.) Most importantly, he didn't re-sign with the Nuggets because he wanted a bigger role!
He will be the 5th best player on this team behind LaVine/Lonzo/Vooch/DeRozan. He's coming up for an extension and wants to get paid! Are we really about to drop the brinks trunk for the 5th best player on the team?
2.) He isn't great off-ball and isn't a good spot up 3PT shooter which we desperately need. Even in his time with the Nuggets, Denver fans didn't like that he was pretty much non active off-ball but still loved having him for his defensive intensity.
3.) Jerami Grant is a good defender, but is vastly overrated on defense in his current form. He is still good, and I assume would be even better if he wasn't such a ball dominant offensive player for the Pistons, but again he doesn't want to be the 5th option on a team. He left a championship contender in the Nuggets for Detroit of all places because he wanted to be valued as a center piece.
In terms of an alternative id love to have playing for us is: Harrison Barnes. A good 3PT shooter, works off-ball, still good defensively at the 4 and gives spacing for the team. Can get him for way cheaper then Grant, would slot in perfectly into a bench role for us with P.Will coming back, solid defense.
Only thing is, who do we give up for Barnes you ask? You forgot one key factor. Barnes plays for the KINGS. EZ MONEY, FLEECE THE KINGS. PORTLAND 1ST AND TROY BROWN JR WHO SAYS NO.

Eighty minutes until the teleportation spell was ready.
Rob paced back and forth across an empty street on the outskirts of Elven territory. Ornβtol and Zamira were facing away from him, keeping their watchful eyes on Broadwaterβs empty streets. They didn't actually need to be on the lookout, as the Blightβs entry attempts were always heralded by a hideous sound that could be heard from one end of Deserter territory to another, but his pacing was making them nervous. Rob was aware of the effect it was having on them, but found that he couldnβt stop even if he wanted to. Sensory overload was pulling his limbs along like a puppeteer tugging at strings. The half-healed nerves in his arm were tingling, the Corruption within was burning, the sun was beating down on his face, and the anticipation of how the next few hours would play out was wreaking havoc on his mental state.
Something was going to happen. Something always happened.
The Blight tended to make entry attempts just a little away from the Deserters β presumably to give its spawn time to mature β but that left a wide area to cover, and it was unlikely that Robβs trio would be the first to defend against new incursions. His group was formed for the purpose of responding to entry attempts as they came, which is why it consisted of himself, Zamira, and Ornβtol, three of the highest-Dexterity members in the Deserters. Group B consisted of Keira, Taleya, and a Ranger named Harkin, who were situated on the opposite end of Deserter territory. Both of their groups were positioned to cover as much ground as possible. It was a strategy they'd implemented three days ago, and so far, it had worked like a charm. At least one group was always able to respond to an entry attempt in short order.
But βin short orderβ wasnβt βimmediatelyβ. Odds were that either some of the Rangers or some of the Fiends would be closer to any given entry attempt, and they couldnβt afford to wait for reinforcements. Not when leaving the Blightspawn to their own devices could result in unchecked mutating and multiplying. As a consequence, Rob had barely arrived in time to prevent casualties from occurring on two occasions now, and that was with his new boost in Dexterity. The way those situations could have played out were weighing on his

Let me preface this by saying that this is the 3rd STI I have owned. Iβve had a 2013, 2016 and a 2019. All 3 were bulletproof as far as reliability went. Only oil changes, new tires, brakes and general fluid changes. I never had any mechanical failure, never needed a tow, drove without issue through 2 feet of fresh snow and all 3 treated me well. I purchased my 2019 STI just shy of 3 years ago. Options included the Option Package #3 (recaro seats and keyless access), short throw shifter, carbon fiber trunk trim and the rear cargo package. MSRP was $41,619. This price sort of places it in a weird segment of its own. A 300+ horsepower manual transmission AWD sports sedan with LSD for 41k. Thereβs really nothing else on the market with the same features. (For those that donβt know the 2019 got a few upgrades over previous models. Horsepower was bumped from 305 to 310, it received a newer ECU, stronger pistons and a shorter 3rd gear for improved acceleration. BUT, itβs clearly evident that this is an aging platform.
First off, itβs an STI- letβs talk performance. The car is downright fun and everything I wanted in a sports sedan. This is not without complaints though. Turbo lag is a real issue with the STI but the engine quickly revs and I got used to the lag (I donβt even notice it anymore). The car begs to be driven aggressively and it rewards you every time with a big smile. Is it the fastest car on the road? No. But itβs the most fun Iβve ever had in a daily driver. Driving on an on-ramp in third gear and speeding to highway speeds never gets old, nor does taking a offramp or driving back roads at high speeds- taking me to the next aspect of performance: the handling. Say what you want about the WRX, the STI is a different beast entirely when it comes to cornering and stability. Itβs damn near impossible to break the tires loose. It sticks to the road and goes where you point it without fuss. The downside to this is the car has a jarringly stiff ride. Youβll feel every bump in the road and I do mean every bump in the road. Thereβs a fine line between a sport suspension and a rough ride. The STI definitely is a rough ride. Iβve taken two road trips in the car and both trips were extremely uncomfortable after a few hours. The seats are stiff, the suspension i

Shoulda changed the injectors preemptively, it was running like 10-20f hotter than usual but I thought it was the fan that I had just replaced. There was no sign of trouble or any issues other than the sometimes slightly higher temperature, until it stumbled at a stoplight. It never stumbles, so I immediately scanned for codes with my scanguage 2, got a misfire. Immediately pulled over, and by that time oil was shooting all over the hood and ground out the dipstick tube, smoking everywhere up with poisonous fumes.
Well, some mean old guy tried calling the cops on me, saying it's private property when I was clearly parked on a public easement, 12" from the side of the road. I pulled the PCV valve off, rode my skateboard to the auto store for some more oil, and when it was shooting oil out of the dipstick tube with the PCV valve removed, I knew the engine was blown. (Should I go park there again, just to prove a point?)
When a PCV valve clogs, it can cause excessive crankcase pressure, which can shoot oil out of places that aren't supposed to shoot oil - because there's nowhere for the pressure to be relieved. Remove the PCV, and the pressure will be relieved, so if it's still shooting out oil, the engine is scewed. Probably blew a hole in a piston from an overfueling injector - common on these oldschool sprinters with a lack of a hacked dealer level scanner for injector smooth running and cylinder contribution tests.
So, I had to think of a plan fast - get closer to my storage locker, on an industrial street far away from schools, that I can push the van along. Found the perfect spot and my van managed to limp there, slowly, agonizingly, nervously, consuming 2 gallons of oil in several miles. I cleaned up the mess right away (Always have lots of paper towels on hand), bagged it up and kept a low profile for the first week. I was now out of a job (Delivery guy) and only had a broken motorcycle across the street in my locker. I cleaned up the carb and got the moto fixed up, reinstalled my wood stove in the van, found some pallets to sledgehammer and burn, and started looking for broken down sprinter vans. Found one in colorado, it had hit a pole, guy said it was in a fender bender and just needs a new radiator. I got there, and the guy doesn't even own the property the van is on, won't give me a ride or any help and is unresponsive, rental cars cost $100 a day so that was outta the option. Ended up riding a push s

The excellent: the Modena Q4 is the second-highest trim level and it shows. The exterior styling is beautifully curvaceous and the paint is obviously of high quality. There's not a single bad angle. The painted brake calipers offer a great pop of color, too. The first thing you'll notice upon opening the door is the scent of fine leather. It's everywhere, and it feels and looks as good as it smells. The seats are plush and immensly comfortable. The steering wheel is wrapped in wood and leather and is a pleasure to grasp. Closing the soft-close door is an experience unto itself. The door is heavy; the moment it shuts, the outside world fades away entirely. The Ghibli is ridiculously well-insulated and double-paned acoustic glass comes standard. Starting the engine involves momentary distraction since the button is lifted straight from lesser FCA products. Then the engine roars to life. A sensuous growl briefly fills the cabin and you're immediately entranced once again. Hooking up your phone to the Uconnect system is intuitive and Android Auto works perfectly. The UI fills the screen and is easy to use with the touchscreen or rotary knob. Tap your favorite playlist, and the Bowers & Wilkins sound system springs to life, a concert hall all to yourself. Putting the car into gear is easy thanks to a redesigned shift knob. A 360-degree camera is standard and makes parking or navigating tight spaces easy. Shift into drive, select sport mode, and prepare to eat up the miles in comfort. Bursts of acceleration and aural reminders of the Ferrari-tuned engine thundering beneath the hood elicit joy throughout the journey. Opening the windows lets in more of the sound and is the perfect way to cruise on a nice day. The steering is responsive and the Q4 AWD system makes the Ghibli feel surefooted. The 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brakes bring things to a hault extremely quickly. Nothing squeeks and nothing rattles. From a practical standpoint, the trunk is huge and the rear seats fold for even more storage.
The Okay: the rear seat is usable, but relatively cramped for the size of the car. The non-leather surfaces on the dash are soft-touch, but cheap compared to the ridiculously high quality leather next to them. The rear windows should roll down more.
The bad: Some inexcusable parts sharing w

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. Jerami Grant, F, 27, under contract for 2 more years at 20 million per
What we've learned: nothing new.
Grant has confirmed his identity as a good scorer and ideal 3rd-4th option on a championship team. It seems more and more likely every day that he get's traded sooner rather than later as there's no legitimate way to project the team being competitive during his current contract.
Saddiq Bey, F, 22, entering the 2nd year of his rookie contract
What we've learned: unclear.
The Pistons and Bey have taken a very aggressive route for his development. His work load has increased significantly with his 2PA doubling and his AST% increasing from 7.6 to 12.6. And it isn't just a matter of more responsibility, Bey is playing more aggressively with his ORBs and STLs seeing a significant uptick. If there was ever a chance that Bey could reach another level this is what he was going to have to do. The results have been as bad as it gets with his 3P% dropping from 38% to 31% and his TS% dropping from 57% to 49%. The concern there is if it turns out that Bey simply can't be that prolific on offense it will mess with his mental and he'll continue to chase the dragon rather than settling back in to a 3 & D role player. It should be noted that with Grant out Bey has strung together 3 nice games in a row (25.7 points on 54/97/43) but he needs to be able to do that when sharing the court with several ball handlers.
Killian Hayes, G, 20, entering the 2nd year of his rookie contract
What we've learned: that the Pistons drafted a bust with the 7th pick in the 2020 draft.
It can't be overstated how bad Killian has been in his brief NBA career. He's at the bottom in the league in every advanced stat and some of his career stats are eye popping. He's only scored more than 14 points once, he's had more scoreless games than double digit games, and per 36 minutes he's scored <10 points per game on 43 TS%. A brief look at his stat line and you might think there would be some positives but on deeper inspection the only positive for the Pistons is that they use him less. Despite being 4th on the team in minutes per game he's 2nd to last in USG%-- which is mind boggling for a guard. His 3P% has slightly increased on low volume but his AST'd% has skyrocketed to over 90% and his T

**Dean Watson's Fort Z Condo Rumors Disproven (SPONSORED)**By: Jessica Hilton
Rumors and allegations have been swirling on the streets that Dean Watson has purchased Fort Zancudo in order to revitalize the military base and transform it into condos for the people of Los Santos.
LSBNβs Jessica Hilton sat down with Mr. Watson to discuss this rumor. While safe and affordable housing does continue to be a point of great interest to the city's populace, Mr. Watson had just one thing to say:
Mr. Watson emphasized the importance of the Fort to the state of San Andreas and the people of Los Santos, and pointed out that he does not in fact own the property. Further research confirmed that Fort Zancudo is in fact owned by AirX, and is vital to the operations of the company as well as the military.
Sources of this apparent rumor pointed to a Mr. Siz Fulker, although this has not been proven or substantiated as of press time.
