A list of puns related to "Transmission Control Protocol"
My mind is blown here and I read it is impossible to open it. Came to this question, I am starving to death today. Had a bout of sepsis (Enteroccocus faecalis) After a big block of ice to combat that ignorance), but I find it odd how nothing else was.
Hi,
I just working on telecom and hear a lot of terms like sctp. Can anybody please clarify what does "Stream" mean in SCTP protocol?
Is it what it literally mean? like just stream of packets or bits? Then why is it control "stream control"? How does this protocol control stream of bits?
So many thanks in advance.
I just saw the 12in1 anker thunderbolt 4 hub, which is amazing.
I think thunderbolt 4 is great in terms of bandwidth, and ideally I could use the anker thunderbolt 4 hub to power 3 4K monitor and power delivery and several USB devices.
However, should I really spend 300dollars on a thunderbolt 4 hub or if the protocol will be soon replaced or upgraded?
Hey /r/Networking,
I have traditionally worked on layer 3 features and protocols, but after a role change, I'm more frequently working with analyzing and troubleshooting TCP sessions.
In addition to the RFC for reference, I am looking for a recommendation of resources to cover:
TCP implementations on various host platforms
TCP offload vs TCP segment offloading
Practical analysis of TCP sessions in Wireshark
TCP windowing, delayed acks, the effect of latency, retransmits, etc
I understand that there may not be a single resource, but would appreciate any resources you've found clear and helpful.
Thanks

> Itβs remarkable that the Suns have yet to be impacted by the virus this season. And while it certainly seems as if their good practices are playing a part, theyβre the first to admit that sheer luck is ruling the day too.
> Yet as Suns coach Monty Willilams detailed before the game, it certainly helps to have a veteran voice and former playersβ union president like Paul on hand in troubling times like these.
> After a film session last week, Paul and Williams addressed the team to discuss the COVID concerns and all the measures they could take to ensure the best odds of keeping their team whole.
> βLetβs just do our part so that we can keep business moving in a good direction, to keep it going,β Williams said of the message. β(Paulβs portion) was a really short but profound talk that we needed to have. I shared an experience, a personal experience, that Iβve been through because of the situation, and then we just kind of left it at that. β¦We want to do what we can to keep the business going but also keep our families safe and do our part. It doesnβt seem like the virus is going anywhere, so we might as well do what we can to keep each other safe.β
> When I circled back with Williams after the game to learn more about the specifics of his message, he shared the fact that Suns players have been encouraged to have people in their circles tested as a way of adding another layer of protection.
> βI just told them (that) youβre gonna have family members coming back to town (during the holidays), so the safest thing to do is get them tested when they come into town,β he added. βKeep them safe and keep us safe. People are struggling, man, you know? The numbers are back up again. Folks are dying. Again. For us to complain about playing basketball or anything within what we do is just kind of silly, and we donβt want that to be our story. We want hooping and our culture to be our story.β
> As Ayton remembers it, Paul implored them all to remain focused on what they could control.
> β(He was) just mainlyβ¦preparing (them for) what the leagueβs got for us coming (regarding COVID),β Ayton said. βWhatever decision they make, donβt be blown away by it, you know? Itβs a decision they have to make, and you know, just finish playing until they say stop basically. You know, ainβt nothing changing. Weβre still coming in, working out, just not doing all the extra-curricular, you know, just going out and stuff like that, just staying in and just
