A list of puns related to "Tippler"
As some of you might be aware from the post by u/everyonegoestohell on feleling lonely in the city, a few of us wanted to catch up for a drink or two by replying "ayes" I decided to make this thread. Since its the weekend and we have a short time, its ideal to book a table. So here are some options where people can vote on.
Timing - start approx 6ish where people can come in and go if they have other plans for the rest of the evening
Please keep a personal tab and pay your dues before you leave the place
In addition, no form of harrasment or rudeness is going to be tolerated. We are all here to meet and have a plesant evening. Underage drinking is prohibited by the law of land and you'll be responsible for your own actions and other members are not responsible
Edits - this is happening tomorrow i.e 23rd Oct, and kindly confirm your participation tomorrow by 12 as it'll be easier for a head count to book a table. Place with the majority votes will be the venue for the meetup
Edit 2 - people voting for alternative options, give options on the comments section at least
Bob's Bar, JP Nagar is the venue
After a sucessful first meet at Bob's Bar in Indranagar, polling on our discord server (which was fair), we as a collective have decided JP Nagar / Jaya Nagar to be our next destination for our 2nd meetup. The timing is usually post 6pm and y'all are more than welcome to join at any point in time. Participants can come and leave as they want to. The venue will be decided soon and will be updated.
Basic ground rules - we are all meeting to have fun and a good time with a couple of beers and drinks and nothing more. Be kind, compassionate and empathetic to other participants and not be short tempered or impatient. We strongly discourage such acts. Some of them might be shy and introverts. Making them feel comfortable and part of the group is encouraged. This is a simple casual meet and greet group with a bunch of people wanting to have a good time.
We take women's safety as a priority as well. Women can approach me directly if someone misbehaves or feel uncomfortable at any point in time. Even creepy dms are messages along with unsolicited pictures are taken serious in our collective group, they will be named and shamed out in public. Send me screenshots please
For guys - be humble and grounded to all genders, this is not a dating or a hookup platform. Try your luck on plethora of dating apps available, but this is not the place for that. If its not working, then the problem lies somewhere within you and you need to reflect things on yourself. No dms or messages without asking permission and consent. Please respect others boundaries. This is definitely not a place for creeps.
We encourage lgbtq community as well and would be helpful to get us better insight if we decide to host the meeting in the future again.
People who want to be downers, please keep it within yourself and not make this post a shithousery for the rest and discouraging others to join. We already have a pretty decent sized community who like this concept and willing to meet up regularly. We have a simple system in place which most of them agree to and are comfortable with it going into the future with it.
Drinking alcohol for individuals under 21 is prohibited by law. We as a group or as individuals are not responsible for your actions if you fall under this category. You are adult enough to take informed decisions
For the first meet we had and a total of 16 people showed up, wont be sharing the pic for privacy reasons but we did share it in o
... keep reading on reddit β‘As someone with CPTSD, ADHD, and severe anxiety, Iβve had a difficult time finding and maintaining friendships/relationships with emotionally healthy people who are willing to work on themselves. Are you working on yourself and working on becoming a better, more fulfilled person but feeling alone in that? Do feel like you want to be around others who are doing the same?? Letβs hang out!! The Tippler has a lot of space as well as non-alcoholic options, so it seems like a good place to accommodate however many people show up.
Iβm 25F but I generally have older friends and can get along with all kinds of people so donβt be shy π
a swineo.
tl;dr: Great clean bright orange flavor, but really sweet.
I didn't find much about this bottle online, so I figured to write a review of my own. Picked this up at a local store in South Florida earlier this month paying $18.99 at 52 proof. From St Petersburgh distillery in the Tampa Bay area.
Nose: Bright, sweet, juicy oranges with hints of fresh orange peels drying under the sun. Very inviting.
Palate: Caramel sweetness. Tremendously bright and warm orange juice flavor. Like if somehow one could remove all traces of acidity and bitterness from orange juice while turning up the sweetness to 11.
Finish: More caramel, some hints of orange essential oils.
There's a lot of tastiness going on here. If I had to describe this bottle with three words: sweet orange sunshine. Sips nicely. But also incredibly sweet and therefore I found this somewhat hard to mix with. Definitely cut way back on the simple syrup when using this in a cocktail.
Comparing Tippler's to Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, the former is clearly less complex out of the bottle. However, when proofing the latter down to the same strength (using a 1:1 ratio with simple syrup), I actually preferred Tippler's in a blind taste test as the bright, clean orange flavors neatly shine through.
Would I buy this bottle again? Probably not: it would be hard to balance most cocktails asking for orange liqueur with all that extra sweetness. Was it tasty? Definitely: made very refreshing highballs with tonic water or coconut water. What would I share with the producer? A higher proof less sweetened version of this would be a super strong contender to Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao.
