A list of puns related to "The Dreams In The Witch House"
Iβve heard a couple different theories, like she was traumatized and it was a trigger for her, or that the crucifix was made of right angles, which counteracted her magic because itβs based on odd angles.
Is this just one of those things left up to interpretation? Because I doubt Lovecraft would ever imply holy magic in one of his books.

Is this enough to qualify the Dream Witch as her "counter"? To complete negate all the effects the enchantress has gained, just spawn a new servant! Also, it might make the stacks the enchantress has available more erratic, because it frequently switches between them without any warning, and the enchantress won't know how many stacks she has for each servant.
So this one was pretty dang weird.
I was in a house, seemed like a two-story house that had a lot of rooms, and the enture house had this rustic look on the inside with everything being wooden. So I was in one of the rooms on the computer (I think I was looking up Frozen 2 stuff), and I suddenly heard a high-pitched voice to my left.
"Psst. Over here."
I looked over, and noticed that the next room had an open window to it, almost like an alcove you might see at a fast food restaurant, manus the counter. There's a long brown tentacle with slight orange-gold spots (though a bit gradiiant so it was more like soft patches). It looked like it was a small octopus of some sort as I could then see its head, and two tentacles were curled around the "counter" like hands.
"I'm curious as to why you've come here," the creature said. "We don't get visitors often."
"No indeed, no indeed," seaid another voice.
I stepped closer, and I found myself pulled into the room. The wood room was largely empty save for some dark brown wood chairs lining the walls, and what looked like a lamp hanging from a mental strring on the cieling. Except I realized that the "lamp" was actually two other of those octopus-creatures tied up together. They didn't saeem like they were stuck or anything, it looked more like they were that on purpose.
"It was foolish of you to come," the two on the wire said at the same time, swinging back and forth in a very slow, unsettling manner. "Do you know what we do to those who invade our world?"
"No," I said, glancing around for a door but not seeing any at first. I then saw a small brown door behind me but I couldn't move towward it for some reason, and the door looked fake.
"We trap them here and don't let them go," all three said at the same time, as the third octopus scuttled up the wire to be with the others. "Why would we? Humans are such interesting, malleable creatures in their thought-realms. The house changes to our whims and ours alone."
"Do you even know what this place could bestow upon you?" hissed the third. "Or curse you with? This world is our home, you know. Dreamers are such curious, haughty creatures."
They then started speaking in rhyme in their high, hissing voices, which was very unsettling. Gave me vibes of the witches from Macbeth, to be honest. (I'm not sure if I remember it all correctly but I'll try to reproduce it to the best of my ability)
"We use our voices, shrieking shrtill
