Hola! If you live in Tenerife, you know how much it sucks that most online shops, including most sellers on Amazon, do not ship to The Canaries. Furthermore, if they do deliver to the Canaries, the Spanish post Correos takes weeks and months to deliver the package (if at all).

This is completely ridiculous. We want to change this as soon as possible!
We are starting a company called DeliveryPool. We provide you with an address on mainland Spain, there you can collect 5 packages from different online stores. I feel like I am banging my head against the wall here and I would massively appreciate any experience and advice any of you might have.

I am travelling to Tenerife in March and of course want to make sure that I bring my prescription across borders legally. Entering and exiting the UK is not much of an issue, however I'm stuck on the Spanish border part.

I have with no success attempted to contact the Spanish consulates and embassy in the UK for days and haven't managed to speak to a single person.

I emailed the Spanish drug control agency directly as stated in the minimal information I could find on the embassy's website, they have responded to me that I need to apply for a license through the consulate, so here we are...

I've looked into cannabis clubs in tenerife, however I will be travelling alone with my 9 year old son so it's unfortunately not an option.

I'm feeling quite deflated at this point having to go through this to enter a country where cannabis is mostly legal with my legal prescription 😕

UPDATE: I've received an email response from the consulate in Manchester, advising me that I need to contact the Spanish drug control agency (who I already contacted, and was told I need to apply through the consulate) to apply for the license.

The main issue here is whether Cannabis/THC would be considered a narcotic and/or psychoactive drug under Spanish legislation, as in that case a license will be needed. I have asked the question in all my correspondence, but have yet to receive an answer.

I'm planning on going to Tenerife this weekend or next. I'd like to stay somewhere where I can meet other digital nomads and date women. I'm 30s male, will be staying at least a few weeks. Any tips on what areas I should focus on? I'm not interested in clubs, but would like to be near other people in a similar lifestage. Research I've done so far suggests the South corner, West side, near Playa de las Americas might be best. Is that right? Any other tips?

(I'm probably planning an airbnb to start. I'd love to do a co-living place, but they seem to be booked up for months. Any tips on specific places also appreciated.)

Both seem to be great options, wondering if anyone has been to both and can share some insight?

So far I’ve figured out the following…

Tenerife:

• Larger island than Madeira so more to explore
• Larger DN community than Madeira
• Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the most popular city for DMs
• Puerto de la Cruz also popular but more of a surf town vibe
• Slightly warmer weather than Madeira since it’s further south
• Not quite as tropical/lush as Madeira but still beautiful landscapes
• Nicer beaches than Madeira
• Spanish speaking, obviously

Madeira

• What’s stated above, and…
• Funchal is the most popular city for DNs
• Ponta Do Sol also popular but more of a smaller nomad village so less variety and infrastructure than Funchal
• Portuguese speaking, obviously

I only have 6 weeks total so I’d rather pick one island as a home base and then possibly fly to one or two other islands over the weekends. More about me: 29M working in tech, big into electronic music, hiking and fitness, socializing.

We have booked flight and hotel to Tenerife and we are staying in Costa Adeje. We are 6 people and all of us are 17, except for one which is 18. I am wondering if it would be possible to come into night clubs in Costa Adeje or Playa de las americas area, even though we are 17? Does anybody know how strict they are with ID, or does anybody have experience?
