A list of puns related to "Suspense Account"
Hi all, I have an Account Code called "Suspense Account". It's an account used to temporarily store transactions that require further analysis before a permanent assignment in the records can be made.
I'm unsure which accountType should I choose in NS for this Account. The available accountType are such as Equity, Deferred Revenue, Deferred Expense, Statistical, etc
Can someone enlighten me. Thanks in advance
So Iβve been making extra payments to my mortgage company ever since we started paying on our house. I used to send in a check with the monthly bill, where an area was listed with the extra amount applied to principal. At the end of 2018, we paid a large chunk after my father passed unexpectedly and I was a beneficiary of some of his life insurance.
I eventually ran out of checks. I was pretty depressed, and was definitely not paying much attention to finances/bills (luckily my wife handles everything else besides the mortgage payments). I started to use my banking app for payments sometime last year (I think). I noted that they appeared to be applying extra payments to principal.
I noticed a few months back that my principal seemed high. By quite a bit-at least $3-5k. After reviewing records over the last year, I realized theyβve been holding my money in what I assume is a suspense account. I had not noticed that they are holding it for future payments, meaning theyβre charging me double interest/escrow, and not applying all the extra payment to my principal. After paying almost double payments for 3-4 months, my due date for payments pushed to October 2020. It looks like theyβve held like $3800 or so in future interest and escrow payments instead of placing it towards principal. Iβm still a bit confused, but I assume Iβm paying that interest on that extra principal every time (so up to like $150 for this per month).
The assholes have the gall to only respond via email and take weeks. I explained the issue (incorrectly, as I didnβt fully grasp what theyβd been doing). They stated, βIn order to assist with reversing payments, please advise which payments you would like applied to the principal. Unfortunately, we must have in writing which payments you would like moved.β
So now that my wife and I have figured out that theyβve been holding that money this year, weβre trying to correct it. Am I going to be out of my interest for each of those months since it was already done?
I assume theyβll switch the extra money from escrow/interest towards the principal without a fuss. But if Iβm gonna get screwed out of all that accrued interest (probably ~$450-700), thatβs some crap. Is this really legal, and if so, why?
The Fifth Month of 2021 is upon us, and you're still wondering how to get your Twitter account back that was suspended 2 months ago, or 2 days ago. Maybe even 2 years ago.
This Stickied Thread (meaning, it's always at the top of Hot) is for everything related to the primary reason many of you are here:
Twitter Support locked, suspended and/or banned your Twitter account. And you want to know how to get it back.
Or maybe you want to tell your suspension story, because yes, we are fully aware of how ridiculous Twitter Support is with killing off accounts left, right, center, and all points in between.
If you've been suspended by Twitter Support for an absolutely ridiculous reason, please feel free to upload a screenshot of the email you received from Twitter Support explaining why it was imperative of them to do so.
https://imgur.com/ is one of many places you can post your screenshot images, and link to when commenting on this thread/post.
There are plenty of people that have had their accounts suspended by Twitter Support. Most of them for the most ridiculous of reasons, or no reason at all. Many people told their stories last month.
We know there will be plenty more this month. And unfortunately, every month until Twitter Support decides that suspending accounts for no reason is a really bad way to run a social media company.
Was your Twitter account suspended for making "violent threats" even though you made no violent threats? Did you make a joke that was interpreted by Twitter Support as "violent?"
Here are a couple of guides for those of you wanting to know how to get your accounts back.
Remember, there's no guaranteed method of doing so. We can only provide the best free advice known to mankind here. And even that, in the end, only goes so far.
So yesterday I spent most of my work day watching videos trying to illustrate what I was supposed to do, to show that our net temp restricted assets should become unrestricted so we could use them.
This was because we received a donation for a purchase of equipment, but we purchased the equipment using an employees credit card. So I was trying to sort that out.
The best illustration I got was something like this for my applicable situation:
Dr: Cash $1000
Cr: Restricted Youth Program Donation - $1000
Dr: Net Asset Released from Restriction - $1000.
Cr: Cash - $1000
Dr: Fixed Asset: Donated - $1000
Cr: Net Asset released from Restriction - $1000
Is this correct? They also said Restrictions are only ever restricted based on the Donor. Is it possible to have restrictions for internal things, ie: Transportation donations, snackbar, etc?
Are these things I should question with my director about why we have them in our "restricted donation" section, and argue that they should indeed be unrestricted? To lighten my load. I think we only track them to have an understanding of how much we get from them. The snackbar goes directly against an expense for the program.
I tend to lump two issues together, so if I'm unclear what I'm looking for, just ask and I'll try to explain.
If you see it, report it and don't respond. We'll ban the offender and escalate it to the admins.
If you get DMs with threats, report them directly to reddit here:
https://www.reddit.com/report?reason=it-threatens-violence-or-physical-harm
This includes but is not limited to:
You get the idea. It's not acceptable and isn't welcome here. Support your fave top 4 queen without tearing down the other 3 or their fans.
Edit: Also note that reddit's using some automated system that's handing out suspensions for use of a certain f-word that's often used here and considered a slur. We can tell the difference here as actual humans but their automated systems cannot.
Edit 2: I just banned someone for posting another user's social media they stumbled upon. This is considered doxxing on reddit. DO NOT DO IT.
Edit 3: Do not u/ ping people for the purpose of harassment.

I haven't posted in months with my previous account /u/Belforg but I got suspended. I can't remember my password (probably changed the password after a leak and forgot the new one). So I've tried to reset the password, but no mail arrives (Yes, I've checked my spam folder). Since I can't log in my account, I can't also appeal to remove the suspension. I've been sending mails to support for over a week with generic responses that I've tried even before they told me. But my accounts keeps blocked :/. Anyone can help me?
Up to eleven mass account nukes now. I have never been banned from WatchRedditDie, DeclineIntoCensorship, or HiddenPolicy so posting in these subs cannot be construed as "ban evasion" in any way.
This account will be suspended too, just for talking about it, just as the last one was, just as the ones before that. It might take some time, but it will happen. Forcing me to use fresh account is how they keep me on posting cooldown and discourage me from using Reddit to tell my story.
Reddit appeals have been useless. They just send back the same canned reply that I "broke policy multiple ways" without ever specifying how.
I'm literally being censored and silenced for trying to talk about being censored and silenced.
I have screenshots detailing all my posting histories and all the account suspensions. I have also included the original moderator arguments for context. (I have edited the screenshots censoring username and subreddits to comply with WRD's ruleset, as personally requested by one of the moderators of WRD. Please PM me for the uncensored versions directly if you so wish.)
When is enough enough? I will continue making these accounts and submitting unanswered appeals for their spontaneous and unwarranted suspensions until this pattern of power abuse gets noticed and called out.
Yes, I can VPN. Yes, I can shut up about this and just start Reddit all over again. But I shouldn't have to. I am taking a stand for this. I should not be suspended for no reason just because someone in Reddit's top brass has an axe to grind with me.
Update: A moderator from WRD contacted me personally to inform me that a permanent account suspension is, in essence, a "permanent ban from all of Reddit", although this is not explicitly stated in the ToS, Content Policy, or any of the announcements relating to account suspensions. If a Reddit admin contacts me to clarify that I, personally, as a human being, am permanently banned from all of Reddit and any attempts to interact with the site are hereby considered "ban evasion", I will in-fact cease my campaign. I just want to hear the truth.
Update 2: On my ceremonious tenth mass account suspension, Reddit Admins decided to add a little mockery to the mix. Several hours after my tenth account was banned, they sent the banned account an invite to Reddit101. They also invited me to the itookapicture subreddit, possibly to make fun of my diligent screenshotting of this enti
... keep reading on reddit β‘I've counted at least 8 posts about account suspension/freezing/closings for activity, and it appears most if not all of them were restored to active after contacting support.
This is very distressing and it feels as if One is content to silently continue this practice without even acknowledging how common this problem is or talking about what they are doing to reduce false positives.
Can someone from the One team please officially explain what the most common causes of account suspensions have been to date, and what we as customers can do to avoid having our funds suddenly inaccessible with only an email notifying us?
It would do a lot to calm fears that have been growing as the list of people impacted by this continues to grow.
Hello,
Here is the situation. The company I work for is relatively new and its creditors (bank) has requested monthly financial statements every month. At first, this was no problem for the owner because he was barely accounting and basically only recording expenses as part of a monthly reconciliation.
However, since then, I've taken over and I'm handling payables and the chart of accounts. I regularly input all payables and checks cut from the accounts. As a result, our balance sheet is now out of alignment from our reconciliation, and the boss isn't happy because he got used to seeing those numbers.
Since QB doesn't have an option to create a BS entry for checks in transit, I am making one myself.
Procedurally, I think (this is why I'm posting this on reddit) that what I have to do is make the checks in transit account and treat it as a suspense account (Classified as the bank), enter all new checks cut into that account, and perform a regular reconciliation, moving the cut check from the suspense account into the appropriate bank accounts.
I'd like to know if my procedure is correct, and if quickbooks has any features built into the reconciliation.
I'm crossposting this on r/Quickbooks.
Thank you!
Title basically. My main account was suspended one fine day without warning and I honestly don't know what I did wrong. But in order to know what happened, I need to log in to my account. But it keeps saying my password's wrong. Tried resetting the password - I do receive the password reset link but after changing the password, it does not seem to update it. So I seem to be locked out of my account (probably intentional). So it's only fair I know what happened because I truly do not want to repeat whatever I did wrong.
I did try https://www.reddithelp.com/en/submit-request/account-issues. They responded asking me to try https://www.reddit.com/appeals basically, despite clearly stating that I can't log in to my account (the appeals process requires the user to be logged in to the suspended account). I've been going around in circles at this point and it's been very frustrating.
I have been modmailing the admins (on both r/reddit.com and r/modsupport) since July last year and I have not received a single human response. What can I do from here?
My account was suspended yesterday for "vote manipulation" after I voted on some posts in a sub I was moderating on an alt to try and encourage more people to post (I take full responsibility for it because I should have known the rules), but now I'm having issues creating a new account (I'm posting this on a friends).
Every account I have created has been banned shortly after opening for some reason. I have been told I should be able to do this by a Reddit admin:
>"Users are allowed to create new accounts even after they've had an account permanently suspended as long as they don't continue the same rule-breaking behavior."
Can someone help me find out why my accounts are being removed and how I should proceed?
(Tldr at the end.)
There is this annoying career counselling agency which first gave a shitty service and then kept pressing me to give a review online.
Annoyed I gave 1 star and wrote- "Pretentious as fuck."
I didn't realize that it's not YouTube and since there are not many reviews, they read all of them. She asked me whether I had "abused" there. I quickly sent her a screenshot of another review posted from a different account. I didn't want drama since she knows my father.
I don't know if I fooled her but she wrote- "That person will be banned from Google." (In hindsight I definitely didn't lmao.)
Maybe this is hilarious to y'all but I have never posted on Local Guides before. Since the businesses are real and maybe the business owner's reports have more weight, I worry a full blown Google account suspension. I have ptsd from my YouTube account suspension so I don't care if you find this funny, I had to ask it.
Tldr: Business owner threatening account Google suspension since I wrote a review with "fuck" in it. Will my google account get suspended or only Local guides?
Thanks to everyone who joined, and congrats to the winners!
It has been happening since the last year, Facebook keep taking random comments as hate speech and suspending my account, I don't know what to do because if I appeal to the suspicion it just get confirmed in less than a minute. It clearly doesn't broke any rule and there is no way those comments were hate speech, one was the name of a youtuber and the other was a local joke in my town, neither of them broke any rule and I can't find any way to contact Facebook or get a human to look at the comments. Is there a way to do something? Like contact with Facebook on email?
We're up to five now. Five total account nukes.
Reddit admin is ignoring me. All the appeals come back with a canned reply that I "broke policy" suggesting it was banned evasion, on accounts I HAVEN'T EVEN POSTED WITH.
Is there no way to get this story more public on reddit?
Is anyone else experiencing this level of harassment and vengeance from a moderator??
I feel like people need to know about this. I want there to be somewhere I can turn.
EDIT: Just got off a fascinating chat with a reddit marketing company who refused to fulfill an upvote order from me, on the grounds that the post was "too negative towards moderators". Even though it didn't violate Reddit Content Policy, or their own Ethical Policy, they refused to fulfill the order because they believe it would result in suspensions of their accounts.
Suspensions of accounts? Just for upvoting a post? Think about that. Think about the level of control Reddit has over the dialogue on here. Everyone should abandon ship.
It would be great if the Dash team shares the status with us on a regular basis. I think many Dash holders are very confused by this right now.
An admin has permanently suspended my account twice. Upon appeal, both suspensions were reversed.
First time:
For this comment:
> These people are retarded. screenshot
Context: I called two guys who intentionally drove into a tornado and lowered their windows to record it βretards,β and that was used as a pretext to ban my account. Their message: βbanned for promoting hate,β which I clearly wasnβt doing. They lifted their bogus ban.
Second time:
The same admin used this comment as a pretext to ban me:
> Probability for retards screenshot
In response to these comments:
> 50/50
>> Same as everything. It either happens or it doesnβt.
Their message. Banned for the same reason. Once again, lifted upon appeal.
Whichever admin is using the banhammer so injudiciously I believe is ideologically prejudiced. This is my non-kosher handle which I used to browse right-wing counterculture subs like /r/conservative and /r/conservativememes. If Iβm banned for a third time using some contrived pretext, Iβll update this post, assuming my admin stalker doesnβt have it removed.
Oh brethern, in a moment of weakness I committed a cardinal sin. I spoke ill of my fellows and was permanently suspended. Please help guide me back into the hearts of our prophet, my brothers and sisters. Please pray that I maintain composure and am not tempted to engage in futile arguments. Awomen.
Edit: Amen. And Awomen.
Edit 2.0: Anonbinarask. Axen. Cool Cats. Kittens.
I had been on Pinterest for the last 2 years, It was going all good with my account I had 500k + monthly unique viewers and was gaining followers, too. But recently an update of the pinterest android app released and I found some fault with this update so I decided to review this update on the play store. I rate Pinterest with 1 star and said that 'latest update sucks' Guess what happened - They suspended my account which was related to that email, I was just shocked. If anyone rates you 1 star then how you can suspend their account without any reason. And they are not replying to my email, now. So I just wanted to say that if anyone honest is here please check my account and let me know how I get back my account I was unaware of that rating so will lead to my account suspension. My Pinterest id - @sangyanu Url- pinterest.com/sangyanu Thanks.
You may make a joke to someone that you know is harmless, and the recipient(s) knows is harmless, and that there is never any actual legitimate threat of violence involved.
But Twitter Support's algorithms don't know that. And their humans (?) don't know that either.
And they clearly don't care.
So when you say "Kill all ________" and it's clear to any sane human being with basic reading comprehension skills that there's no real threat of actual violence, remember that Twitter Support is very likely going to suspend your account for saying something like that, and disregard your appeal as well.
You can make jokes on Twitter, for the most part. But if that joke involves an inkling of "violence," know that your account is at risk of suspension.
It's stupid af, but it's reality.
For the month of April, we're going to change things up a little.

12+ accounts suspensions over 4 days. Almost none of them actually involved in any sort of policy breach.
