Anyone else a fan of selling sunset and astrology? I find it to be a really interesting lens through which you can understand the various characters. Amanza fits her Sagittarius sun really well. I think Mary is such a classic Leo, and Chrishell a TRUE cancer. As a Virgo, heather is one too and I really relate to her and the way she handles things.
The only one that surprised me at first was Christine being a libra, a sign known for keeping the peace and being diplomatic. However, after seeing her costar chart (someone linked her tweet of it from a while ago), she has heavy scorpio placements and Capricorn too I believe. Her two sided tendency also fits the negative sign Iโve seen in Libras too. Anyone else have astrological insights with this show?

โขJess- Cancer (nurturing/motherly yet always playing the victim when theyโre the problem, also falls in love EASILY)

I used to be like "There is no way everybody on Earth only has 12 personality types." Then once I put my chart together and looked at all placements for all planets, nodes, asteroids, aspects etc I was like..."This is so me" and I became a believer.
I feel like people who are skeptical are falling for the trap of commercialized astrology focusing on the sun sign only.

While the Scorpio full moon we just experienced along with Pluto retrograde would continue to bring things up from below the surface that need to be handled, faced and healed, we would start now working on the future. May would have not just a new moon in Taurus, giving us a fresh boost of self worth and net worth so we can start building our new life on firm grounds, we would also have three fated encounters on 10th, 17th and 31st May which will bring more clarity to our life path which would unfold further with the eclipses we are about to experience end May and June. My interest has always been there thanks to my maternal Grandmother, who passed away when I was a teenager. Just over two years ago, I became a mother myself, which of course brought up lots of feelings and memories of my childhood and I have found astrology to be a real anchor point in helping me understand myself a little better and deal with my emotions in a calmer, kinder way during the many stresses new motherhood entails! When I found out my moon and rising, I felt like so much clicked into place for me.
However, there has been one stumbling block for me and I really think it's lack of knowledge that's causing my misunderstanding...
In conversation on numerous occasions it's been suggested to me that the mother-child sun signs play a huge role in their relationship throughout their life.
Of course to some degree I know this to be true, but as a Leo mother of a Scorpio son, I feel this bristle with an energy that unsettles me. More than once it's been suggested that I am in for a tough time!
I'm not looking for an analysis of our relationship here, neither am I looking for a nature vs nurture debate!
What I've been struggling to find in my very limited reading is a clear and concise explanation of exactly why we are so much more than just our sun sign?
My thoughts are that when we are looking at how different people communicate, astrology can help us identify new paths to allow in even more love, even more understanding. Rather than a framework for suggesting what isn't or cannot be, it shows us what can be once we try to understand ourselves and show compassion for others.
As an entry level student with a very open heart, I really do hope you'll forgive my lack of knowledge! It's just everywhere seems so sun sign sun sign sun sign focused and I want to know why people don't talk about the bigger picture!

You know what's the stupid thing about people who follow this? They believe that there are 10 different planetary signs, including your Zodiac sign, that make up a human. That means that there are 10^ยนโฐ amount of different possibilities that make up your personality, and they still look at it as 1 single sign that determines who you are.
If you delve deeper into it, then there are another 10 "houses" that they believe make up your personality. So all together that is 20^ยฒโฐ or 1.048576e+26 possible combinations.
And yet, they believe being born under the sign of a fucking Aquarius makes a difference.
