Hey everyone,

I have some fresh CGC slabs with subgrades for sale (open to trade as well) they are 30-45 each, free shipping over 60$, tracked bubble for an additional 5$. All of these slabs have subgrades as well, many are 1st edition and shadowless. The Base, Shadowless, and FA Trainers/Rainbows I'm asking a little more 35-45 each but everything else is 30-35$ PayPal or 40$ trade equivalent each. I'm primarily a mew/shiny collector but I'll look at most things for trade depending on what catches your eye, PP is the priority though. I'm flexible on pricing just looking for comps. I have a 7.1 setup right now in a small room, about 11x12. My current sub is a PB-2000, so obviously either of my choices above will kill the little SVS. I'm trying to decide if I would be better off with the one big boy, or 2 of the 15's given my room's small size.

The reason I'm ditching the SVS instead of adding a second is because it's severely lacking in (to my ears anyway) the mid-bass department. Yes, I have done the Sub crawl. Also, before someone says TV36IPAL or TV42IPAL, those are out of the question because of their height, my TV would be mounted through the ceiling in order to make room for those.

I've been thinking of doing a subgrade. I have the SVS pb 2000 pro rn I thought maybe dual Pb16s? Until I did research and I feel the pb16s might not be the best for their money. So it would be greatly appreciated it yall could help me narrow down a few choices

*trying to stay under 6k I will not budge past that. I'm already stretching it quite a bit. My stretching has to stop somewhere LMAO

- FV25HP Direct Servo subwoofer (Is the Servo stuff rlly that good? Or is it just overrated and I won't rlly notice a difference?)

- JTR captivator RS1

- PB 16 ultra

I know the SVS doesn't have much under 15hz compared to these other options. Does it make up for that in midbass slam? I will also be able to trade in my pb 2000 pro so I estimate I would get about 800 bucks off if I went for the Pb16s. Idk thoughts? I just started looking into this I'll be doing my own research as well but thought you guys would have some valid input as usual :)

What is the difference between the two?

Is it as simple as Modulus of Subgrade Reaction is a value that incorporates (in theory) a specific plate test and area over which the load is applied?

Which would you recommend for using as a soil spring in a Finite element model for a 40' pile foundation? I am thinking Youngs is more appropriate.
