A list of puns related to "Stewardship"
I don't believe it's too late to do something about it, I think if the world can all pull together we can still achieve a reasonably good outcome.
Rather, I have so little faith in the world's ability to get it's act together that I think it's almost a foregone conclusion that the latter half of this century is going to be an utter nightmare. I would really love to believe otherwise, but events and the manufactured divisions over the past decade really give me very little hope.
Can anyone convince me that we're going to get past all the disinformation from vested interests, all the manufactured division from politicians and media personalities that will sell their souls for a buck? I just can't see it happening, their methods are getting more sophisticated and the general appetite for dividing any and every issue in this ridiculous "culture war" is only growing.
Hey! So I know I wanna get involved with the Adirondacks in some form this summer (I'm a student so I have the whole summer off) but I'm not quite sure how. The summer stewardship program especially interested me cuz I'd personally much rather be out hiking and talking to people than working an indoor job. I just can't decide whether I should apply to be a professional steward, which is paid but takes up the whole summer, or to be a volunteer steward, which is only a minimum of 5 days (giving me flexibility to get a separate summer job back home). Also I heard the professional stewards often have to camp out on the trails, which I have less experience with than day hiking, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. I guess I'm asking, if anyone has been a summit steward before, or worked for any other ADK summer program, would you mind sharing a bit of your experience and what you liked/didn't like about it? I'm a chronically indecisive person so any input is greatly appreciated :)
I am active, married 5 years, no kids. I have a parent who has a tendency to want to control everything. I recently had a situation with said parent who approached me saying she received a prompting about a specific thing that my husband and I aren't doing as she is, and that we need to start it for our personal growth and non-existent children. It rubbed me the wrong way.
I have heard that once you are married, your parent doesn't have revelational stewardship over you anymore. Sure, general promptings about things you personally can do can be received (i.e. share your testimony about something), but I feel that my parent receiving such a specific "prompting" is a stretch. Is that a safe assumption, considering my husband and I often receive revelation of our own?
TL,DR: What is the extent parents receive revelation/direction for their righteous married children?
Please can anyone explain which skills are the best for the king? Or at least the traits that are extremely useful for the king.
I'm a Natural Resources major at Oregon State and I'd like to continue my education, the MNRS at CSU looks really appealing to me, particularly the Western Ranch Management and Ecosystem Stewardship specialization. If anyone here is in that program or knows where I could get some more personal info about the program, please let me know! I already went through the whole site for the program so I'm looking specifically for what people think of the program.
I'm also interested to know what people think of being a grad student at CSU in general, and what living in Fort Collins is like. I'm hopefully going to come by sometime next year (after the snow lol).

Hey everyone, i hope everyone is doing great. After long delays and many trails during this pandemic, I'm about to join the USCG and go to boot on november 16, 2021.
Graduated HS in 2018, i was completely lost and did not know what to do with my life. i did low-end unsatisfying jobs while I tried to figure my self out. After many ups and downs between 2018-2021 i came to conclusion what i want. To one day be a good father to my wife and kids, being a strong but humble pillar for my community, and gritting through the good and bad with comrades of a shared goal greater than my own. So at the end very i can to go my God, being grateful for the life he gave me using all the gifts, talents and passions to forge a satisfying life for me,other and the enviroment.
So after looking at many job aspects The Coast guard seems to have what I'm looking for. Purpose, Camaraderie, Community . i will probably spend my 20s building my resources and character, then in my 30s join NOAA Corps to do more scientific and environmental work.
but while i'm in the USCG i want to do the humanitarian work than any others of the 11 missions.
Q is there a way or process to join a unit that priorities environmental Protection or Incident Management like for natural disasters or adding in humanitarian restoration.?
Maxmike m181 has transferred ownership of all of his older tweak mods to me Mrbusses for updating. This includes public and private mods. I have done 5 so far and still working on them.
I have full creative control so I'm removing some out dated add-ons adding new ones like the towing platforms logging and others. Plus new tires 200+ paint jobs and stickers. I am keeping with his theme of unique names but using my own.
I'm currently working on the heavy trucks as solo mods but plan on putting them into packs.

I'm a CCA in a post office with only 2 city routes and 13 rural. We don't have any stewards in our office, and I am currently the most experienced city guy. I'm thinking of applying for a stewardship. our regular has been on med leave for the last 5 months and will be for a while due to hip surgeries. Rumor is that the reg will more then likely retire leaving the reg position available, amd if rumors are true then I am next in line. What are the benifits and downfalls of becoming a steward.
