A list of puns related to "Stevenage"
Wondering why theyβre priced so high given that Crawley is much higher in the league than Stevenage, despite being away from home
I ask because Stevenage (Stevo) is my hometown but I've just finished a 4 year degree at University of Exeter. I've decided to stay in Exeter and am currently working in a pub (that's where my Maths masters has gotten me (sigh)).
Lots of people who come into the pub ask where I'm from and when I say Stevenage, I kid you not, most of them have either been there or heard of it.
Just wondering if it's known for something elsewhere and how many of you have heard of it?
It's a massive shit'ole but I'll defend it till I die as the greatest shit'ole on Earth.
So I have my test tomorrow at Stevenage test centre, I HEAR your supposed to park in the long stay car park adjacent to the center and await the examiner, where do I park? Close to the exit? Close to the test centre? There's no information online about it.
Thanks :)
Just turned up to the booster clinic to be turned away. NHS website still listing it as walk-in 10-1 today (arrived early anticipating queues).
They said they may do then 2-4 today if they have stocks left, but no guarantees.
Back to the drawing board for us! Hoping to have someone else the trip.
Saw a post like this so i thought id give people an opportunity. Sysco is hiring starting at 23.40$ an hour. It is a warehouse job and is nights working 5PM to 3:30AM with overtime all the time. If you work your 4 days 10 hours you make about 1400 clear every two weeks. They have stock options and fantastic benefits. Good luck to you all.
Edit: this is a physical job mind you. Do not apply if you donβt think you can keep up. Employees will hope that you get fired if they feel you arenβt doing your part. Be a team player and we will treat you like family!

Personally, I can't remember a more boring Orient game. I saw the 0-0 with Mansfield and that was a frustrating match where the ball just wouldn't go in despite loads of attempts.
This was just dire. We had one good chance all game against a poor side and for long periods looked like mid table plodders playing mid table plodders. Performances like that are not going to get promotion, and they're going to make it tough to make the playoffs.
A team getting promoted would have found a way to score in this game and we didn't. I definitely think we actually play a lot better without Harry Smith in the side from the matches I've seen, we weren't hoofing it every chance when he was out. I'd keep him in but stop hoofing it, he's not a bad player with the ball played to his feet.
Respect the point, but we're right to expect more. Up the O's!
